ԱՄՆ Հետաքննությունների դաշնային բյուրոն հետաքրքրված է եղել Օռլանդոյի գիշերային ակումբներից մեկում հրաձգություն կազմակերպած անձով: Դա կապված է եղել նրա այն հայտարարության հետ, թե Օմար Մատինը ծանոթ է եղել Ցարնաև եղբայրների հետ: Վերջիններս կազմակերպել էին ահաբեկչությունը Բոստոնում: Այս մասին հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում կատարելով «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին:
2013 թվականին Դաշնային բյուրոն երկու անգամ հարցաքննել է նրան: Նա կասկածվում էր ահաբեկչական գործողություններին մասնակցելու մեջ: Ամեն դեպքում քննիչները եկել են եզրակացության, որ Մատինը հորինել է Ցարնաև եղբայրների հետ իր ծանոթ լինելու պատմությունը: Փորձագետները գտել են, որ նա վտանգ չի ներկայացնում:
ԱՄՆ Ֆլորիդա նահանգի Օռլանդո քաղաքում տեղի է ունեցել հրաձգություն, որի հետևանքով 50 մարդ է զոհվել: Այն երկրի պատմության ամենազանգվածային սպանությունն է: Հրաձգությունն իրականացրած տղամարդու դրդապատճառները հայտնի չեն: Ինչպես ավելի վաղ հաղորդվել էր, նա ևս սպանվել է:
