Քանի որ Հայաստանը զուրկ է օգտակար «թանկ» հանածոներից` (նավթ, գազ) այլ, ալտերնատիվ տարբերակ է պետք մտածել` վառելանյութային արդյունաբերության այդ ճյուղը ինչ-որ ձևով լրացնելու համար: Մեծ հաշվով նավթն ու գազը կարելի է ասել տվյալ երկրի «արտադրանքներն» են, որոնք նավթամուղերով, գազամուղերով «արտահանվում» են այլ երկրներ, ինչն էլ խթան է հանդիսանում տնտեսության զարգացմանը: 

Հետսովետական տարիներին Հայաստանի պարագայում սեփականարտադրանք գործարաններում չենք ստանում, կամ ստանում ենք ինչ-որ չնչին քանակություն, որը լուրջ ազդեցություն տնտեսության զարգացման վրա չի թողնում: Ավելին գործարաններ, որպես այդպիսին գոյություն էլ չունեն, կամ ավերվել են կամ վաճառվել:
Վերջին մի քանի տարում Հայաստանում մի շատ արդյունավետ ճյուղ զարգացման ուղի բռնեց` ջերմոցային տնտեսություն: Օտարազգի մասնագետների հավաստմամբ, Հայաստանի բնակլիմայական պայմանները բարենպաստ են ճյուղի արդյունավետ զարգացման համար: Դա եղավ պատճառ, որ մեծ թափով սկսվեց ջերմոցաշինության աշխատանքներ Հայաստանում: Ողջունելի է շատ այն փաստը, որ արտադրող ընկերությունները կարողացան բավարարել ներքին պահանջարկը և սկսեցին արտահանել այլ երկրներ: Սփյուռքահայությունը վկա, հիմա մի շարք երկրներում հայկական արտադրության բանջարաբոստանային կուլտուրաներ կան արդեն, ինչպես նաև վարդեր, որոնք աճեցվում են Կոտայքի մարզի Գողթ համայնքում կառուցված ջերմոցներում: 
Տեմպից չընկնելու համար և ներդրողներին սիրաշահելու նպատակով պետք է արտոնություններ տալ պետական մասշտաբներով ջերմոցային տնտեսության ճյուղին: օրինակ ինչ է նշանակում գազի գինը սահմանել 93-95 դրամ միայն այն դեպքում, երբ կգերազանցվի 10 000 խոր.մ գազի ծախս: Հարգելիներս այդչափ ծախս կարող է ապահովել 1000ք.մ-ից ավել ջերոմոցի ջերմամատակարարման համակարգը, իսկ անհատը, ոչ կազմակերպությունը կամ մեծահարուստ ներդրողը, 1000 ք.մ ջերմոց սարքելու համար 100 000$-ին համարժեք դրամ պետք է ծախսի, ինչը անիրական է (1քառ.մ ջերմոց սարքելու համար մոտ 100$ է անհրաժեշտ, խոսքը նոր տեխնոլոգիաներով հարստացված ջերմոցների մասին է, ոչ սովետական): Կարելի է և պետք է այդ թվերը իջեցնել, ասենք գոնե 50%-ով, այդպիսով խթանելով տնտեսության զարգացումը: 
Պատկերացրեք ևս մի տասնամյակ և Հայաստանը խոշոր արտահանող երկրի կվերածվի, մեծ ջերմոց-երկիր, որտեղ համ բնակչությունն է լավ ապրում, համ տնտեսությունն է զարգանում, համ մարդիկ չեն արտագաղթում, համ բանակի սպառազինության խնդիր չենք ունենում, համ երկրի արտաքին պարտքն է աստիճանաբար իջնում և մի շարք նմանատիպ դրական բաներ:
Պետք է և պարտավոր ենք ազգովի զարգացնել, աջակցել այնպիսի ծրագրերի, որոնք իրատեսական են մեր պայմաններում:
