Աղի կամ մարինացված բանջարեղենի 100 գրամում պարունակվում է աղի օրական նորմայի 20-30%-ը: Բացի դրանից՝ եթե մարդը տառապում է լյարդի, աղեստամոքսային տրակտի, երիկամների և սրտանոթային համակարգի հիվանդություններով, ապա ավելի լավ է՝ աղի մթերքից հրաժարվի:

Բացի շաքարից՝ բազուկը նաև շատ աղ է պարունակում՝ 100 գրամում օրական նորմայի մոտ 10%-ը: Մի կերեք բազուկ, եթե ունեք զարկերակային բարձր ճնշում, շաքարային դիաբետ, միզաքարային հիվանդություն, օստեոպորոզ, ստամոքսի բարձր թթվայնություն:
