Մահացել է ԵԿՄ վարչության անդամ, ԵԿՄ գաղափարաքարոզչական բաժնի պետ, Արցախյան ազատագրական շարժման ակտիվիստ, գրող, հրապարակախոս Հակոբ Հակոբյանը:

Հակոբյանը կյանքն ապրեց երկրապահավարի, անմնացորդ նվիրումով: Մինչեւ ապրած վերջին օրն էլ Հակոբյանը ազնվորեն ծառայեց հայրենիքին, ժողովրդին: Նրա ուսերին չափազանց բարդ աշխատանք էր ծանրացած Երկրապահում՝ գաղափարաքարոզչական աշխատանքից մինչեւ արխիվային, մինչեւ ԵԿՄ վարչությունում եւ ստորաբաժանումներում գրադարանների հիմնում: Սակայն, նա այս ամենն անում էր առանց տրտնջալու, անում էր հաճույքով՝ ազգ-հայրենիքին պիտանի լինելու գիտակցումով:

Հակոբյանն Արցախյան ազատագրական շարժման առաջին իսկ օրերից եղել է այդ գործի նվիրյալն ու մինչ ապրած վերջին օրն էլ պայքարում էր հանուն հայության արդար դատի հաղթանակի: Նա դեռ լրջագույն ծրագրեր ուներ, ձեռնարկներ, որոնք ավարտին հասցնելն իր ընկերների, գործընկերների, երկրապահների պատվի գործը պետք է լինի:

Ննջի՛ր խաղաղությամբ, հարգելի՛ Հակոբ: Եվ հավերժ փա՛ռք քեզ:

ԵԿՄ վարչության նախագահ, Արցախի հերոս, զորավար Մանվել Գրիգորյանի հրամանով ստեղծվել է Հակոբ Հակոբյանի հուղարկավորության երկրապահական հանձնաժողով: Հանձնաժողովի նախագահն անձամբ զորավարն է, հանձնաժողովի կազմում են ԵԿՄ վարչության փոխնախագահները, ԵԿՄ տարածքային բաժանմունքների եւ մարզային խորհուրդների նախագահները:
