Շարմազանովը պատմական դասեր տվեց Ադրբեջանի նախագահին

 Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը պատասխանել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի այն հայտարարությանը, թե ոչ միայն Արցախն է ադրբեջանական տարածք, այլև Սյունիքից մինչև Երևան եղել են պատմական ադրբեջանական տարածքներ: «Օրերս Ալիևը հանդես եկավ հայտարարությամբ,  որտեղ, մեղմ ասած, խեղաթյուրելով պատմությունը՝ ձեռնոց նետեց ոչ ավել, ոչ պակաս անտիկ հեղ ինակներին՝ Ստրաբոնին, Պոլիբիոսին, Դիոն Կասիոսին, Պլուտարքոսին, Պտղոմեոսին: Ավելին՝ նա իր հայտարարությամբ փորձում է «սխալ հանել» բրիտանական հանրագիտարանը, ԽՍՀՄակադեմիական հրատարակության «Համաշխարհային պատմությունը»՝ նշելով, որ ոչ միայն Արցախն է ադրբեջանական տարածք, այլեւ Սյունիքից մինչեւ Երեւան եղել են պատմական Ադրբեջանի տարածքներ: Այս անհեթեթություններին անդրադառնալու որեւէ անհրաժեշտություն չէր լինի, եթե դրանց հեղինակը չլիներ պետության առաջնորդ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդամբ՝ նշեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Շարմազանովը հավելեց՝  անտիկ հեղինակ Ստրաբոնը նշում է, որ  Հայաստանի եւ Ատրպատականի հարավային սահմանագիծն անցնում է Արաքս գետով: Ե՛վ Ստրաբոնը, ե՛ւ Պտղոմեոսը, ե՛ւ Պլուտարքոսը, ե՛ւ Պլինիոս Ավագը, ե՛ւ Դիոն Կասիոսը հստակ նշում են, որ արեւելքում Հայաստանի եւ Աղվանքի սահմանն անցել է Կուր գետով, այսինքն՝ մինչեւ Կուրգետ եղել է պատմական Հայաստան: Իսկ աշխարհահռչակ ռուս գիտնական Ա.Պ. Նովոսելցեւը, ուսումնասիրելով անտիկ պատմիչներին, նշել է. «Ոչ միայն Արցախն է հայկական, այլեւ Ուտիքն ու ի՞նչ կապ ունեն այս ամենի հետ ադրբեջանցիները: Դիմենք Վիքիպ եդիայի օգնությանը: Ադրբեջանցիներ՝ թուրքալեզու ժողովուրդ: Իսկ ո՞րն է թուրքալեզու ժողովուրդների հայրենիքը՝ Միջին Ասիայի եւ Ալթայի միջեւ ընկած տափաստանները: Ե՞րբ է Կովկասում առաջացել Ադրբեջան անվանումով պետություն: Միայն 1918 թվականիմայիսին թուրք Նուրի փաշայի արշավանքների հետեւանքով»,- մանրամասնեց Շարմազանովը:

Նա ընդգծեց՝ եթե Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարը նախընտրում է ընթերցել ոչ թե պատմական սկզբնաղբյուրներ, այլ վկայակոչում է ինչ-որ քարտեզներ, ապա թող Հռոմ այցելելու ժամանակ ծանոթանա Հին աշխարհի՝ մեր օրերին հասած ամենահայտնի քարտեզներից մեկին: «Այնտեղ նա կտեսնի Հռոմեական կայսրության սահմանները, պատմական Հայաստանը՝Արցախով հանդերձ, ինչպես նաեւ Իրանը»,- ասաց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:

Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ Շարմազանովը ընդգծեց, որ պատմությունն անողոք է բոլոր նրանցհանդեպ, ովքեր փորձում են կեղծել այն՝ դաժանաբար նետելով նրանց պատմության աղբանոց:
