«Հայաստանյայց առաքելական եկեղեցին չի մկրտել Համահայկական 6-րդ խաղերին մասնակցելու նպատակով Արևմտյան Հայաստանի Դերսիմ գավառից Երևան եկած, 1915 թ. բռնի իսլամացած երեք հայերի՝ երկու հայուհու և Տիգրանակերտից ժամանած մեկ հայորդու: Արևմտյան Հայաստանի մեր հայրենակիցներն ուրբաթ օրը ստիպված են եղել մի քանի եկեղեցիներ գնալ, թախանձել, խնդրել առաքելական եկեղեցու հովիվներին՝ իրենց քրիստոնեության մեռոնով օծել, սակայն ապարդյուն, բոլոր եկեղեցիներում թղթաբանական խնդիրներ են ստեղծել: «Սկզբում գնացինք Էջմիածին, ապա՝ Խոր Վիրապ, վերջին եկեղեցին Սուրբ Հովհաննեսն էր՝ Կոնդի, բայց ամեն տեղ մերժում ստացանք, ոչ ոք մեզ չընդունեց: Անգամ սփյուռքի փոխնախարարի միջամտությունը և բանակցությունը կաթողիկոսարանի հետ օգուտ չտվեց»,- հիասթափված ասաց մկրտվել ցանկացողների մտերիմներից մեկը՝ նկատելով, որ եթե Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին «հավատարիմ չէ» Աստվածաշնչին և չի մտահոգվում մեկ «մոլորյալով», ապա որն է նրա առաքելությունը:

 Պարզվում է՝ բոլոր եկեղեցիներում պահանջել են տեղեկանք՝ տրված Պոլսի Պատրիարքի տեղապահ Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանի կողմից՝ այն մասին, որ նրանք իսլամացած հայեր են, ինչը բացակայել է Արևմտյան Հայաստանից ժամանած ծպտյալ հայերի մոտ: Մեր զրուցակիցը կասկածներ հայտնեց, որ Աթեշյանը գործում է Թուրքիայի իշխանությունների ցուցումով, ինչին, փաստորեն, միանում է Հայ առաքելական Եկեղեցին: Պարզեցինք նաև, որ այս միջադեպի մասին իմացել են նաև սփյուռքի նախարարությունում, փոխնախարար Սերժ Սրապիոնյանն անձամբ բանակցել է Մայր Աթոռի հետ, բայց ապարդյուն: Իբրև լավագույն փոխզիջում ծպտյալ հայերին կաթողիկոսարանից առջարկել են առնվազն երեք տարի գնալ-գալ Հայաստան ու համապատասխան քննություններ հանձնել, որպեսզի հնարավոր լինի հասկանալ՝ արժե մկրտել, թե ոչ: Մայր Աթոռից բանավոր մեկնաբանություն չցանկացան տալ»,–գրում է թերթը։
