Հայկական սրտաբացությունն ավելի ոգևորիչ ու ազդեցիկ էր, քան միջնադարյան եվրոպական մշակույթի օբյեկտները

Արմեն Աշոտյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Բելգիական Մեխելենի կենտրոնում մի մեքենա էր հետապնդում մեզ, պարբերաբար հայտնվում կողքիս և դանդաղեցնում ընթացքը։
Հերթական անգամ պտույտ կատարելուց հետո կանգ առավ, մեքենայից իջնող վարորդը մոտեցավ և հայերենով հարցրեց` Արմեն Աշոտյա՞ն։ Զարմացած գլխով արեցի, ինչից հետո մոտեցած տղամարդը մեքենայի մեջ նստած կնոջը ձայն տվեց` իջի, ինքնա։
Պարզվեց, մեր հայրենակիցները շատ են այստեղ` մոտ 5 000` իրենց խանութներով, սրճարանով և մեկօրյա հայկական դպրոցով։ Իրենց ջերմության և հետաքրքրության մեջ անթաքույց կարոտ կար և Հայաստանից եկած մարդկանցից այդ կարոտը հանելու ցանկություն։
Մի մասը իրենց տուն էր կանչում, ոմանք հացի հրավիրում, մեքենայատերերը առաջարկում ուղեկցել։
Խոստովանում եմ, որ այս հայկական սրտաբացությունն ավելի ոգևորիչ ու ազդեցիկ էր, քան միջնադարյան եվրոպական մշակույթի օբյեկտները, որոնցով հայտնի է Մեխելենը։
