Վենեսուելայի նախագահ Նիկոլաս Մադուրոն ընդդիմության կողմից վերահսկվող խորհրդարանի ղեկավարությանը մեղադրել է հայրենիքին դավաճանելու մեջ: Նա հայտարարել է, որ համապատասխան փաստաթուղթ կներկայացնի արտաքին գործերի նախարարություն եւ դատախազություն, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին:

«Ես ցանկանում եմ կազմակերպել պատմական դատավարություն, որը ամբողջ ազգին ցույց կտա իշխանության բռնատիրումը եւ հայրենիքին դավաճանելը, որը կատարել է Ազգային ժողովը»,- ընդգծել է Մադուրոն:

Մադուրոն այսպես է բնութագրել Վենեսուելայի իրադրությանը օտարերկրյա պետությունների միջամտելու վերաբերյալ խորհրդարանի ղեկավար Էնրի Ռամոսի կոչերը: Globovision հեռուստաալիքի եթերում Ռամոսը մայիսի 24-ին ասել է, որ մտադիր է ՄԱԿ-ում հանդես գալ երկրի իրադրությանը միջամտելու կոչով:

Այս կոչը Մադուրոն որակել է խորհրդարանի կողմից այն լիազորությունների յուրացում, որոնք նախագահի առանձնաշնորհն են: «Այն, ինչ արեց Ռամոսը, հանցագործություն է»,- հայտարարել է պետության ղեկավարը:

Մեղադրանքին ի պատասխան՝ Ռամոսը սարկազմով հայտարարել է. «Ես խիստ վախեցած եմ»:

Վենեսուելայում շարունակվում է տնտեսական ու քաղաքական ճգնաժամը: Նավթի համաշխարհային գների անկումը, որը երկիր արժութային մուտքերի գլխավոր աղբյուրն է, բարդացրել է իրադրությունը: Էլեկտրաէներգիայի խնայման համար տեղական իշխանությունները բյուջետային աշխատողների աշխատանքային շաբաթը կրճատել են մինչեւ երկու օր:

Խորհրդարանական վերջին ընտրությունների արդյունքներով՝ խորհրդարանում մեծամասնություն են ստացել սոցիալիստական քաղաքականության հակառակորդները, որի հիմքերը դրել է նախագահի պաշտոնում Մադուրոյի նախորդը՝ ներկայում հանգուցյալ Ուգո Չավեսը:
