ԱԳ նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Նազարյանը մասնակցել է Երևանում անցկացված «Հայաստան-Եվրոպական միություն հարաբերությունների ներկայիս վիճակը և քաղաքացիական հասարակության մասնակցության մեխանիզմները» խորագրով համաժողովին: Այն  համատեղ կազմակերպել էին Արևելյան գործընկերության քաղաքացիական հասարակության Հայաստանի ազգային պլատֆորմը և ՀՀ-ում ԵՄ պատվիրակությունը: Այս մասին«Արմենպրես»-տեղեկացրեցին ԱԳՆ-ի մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Իր ելույթում նախարարի տեղակալն ընդգծել է, որ Հայաստանի կառավարությունը կարևորում է քաղաքացիական հասարակության ներգրավվածությունն ինչպես ԵՄ հետ իրականացվող նախաձեռնությունների ու ծրագրերի շրջանակներում, այնպես էլ երկրում տարբեր ոլորտներում իրականացվող բարեփոխումների գործընթացներում: Կարեն Նազարյանը նշել է նաև, որ քաղաքացիական հասարակությունը կարևոր դերակատարում ունի Հայաստան – ԵՄ համագործակցության խթանման հարցում, մասնավորապես` միջմարդկային շփումների, բազմաոլորտ փոխանակումների ու կապերի ամրապնդման, Եվրոպայի հետ ունեցած ընդհանուր արժեհամակարգի մասին իրազեկության բարձրացման գործում:

Համաժողովի ընթացքում նախարարի տեղակալը ներկայացրել է Երևանի ու Բրյուսելի միջև վերջին շրջանի զարգացումներն ու քաղաքական շփումների արդյունքները, խոսել ԵՄ երկրների հետ երկկողմ համագործակցությանն առնչվող խնդիրների, տարածաշրջանային զարգացումների առնչությամբ կողմերի դիրքորոշումների ու գնահատականների մասին: Անդրադարձ է կատարել Եվրոպական հարևանության քաղաքականության վերանայման գործընթացին՝ ողջունելով այն փաստը, որ Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովը վերանայման գործընթացին մասնակից է դարձրել ինչպես ԱլԳ երկրներին, այնպես էլ՝ այդ երկրների քաղաացիական հասարակությանը: Զեկուցողն անդրադարձել է ՀՀ-ԵՄ նոր իրավական փաստաթղթի շուրջ բանակցությունների ընթացքին, խորհրդարանական մակարդակում եվրոպական կողմի հետ ակտիվ փոխգործակցությանը և ԼՂ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում ԵՄ դիրքորոշմանը: Համաժողովի ընթացքում Կարեն Նազարյանը նաև պատասխանել է մասնակիցների բազմաթիվ հարցերին:
