Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի Քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միության պատգամավոր, Գերմանիա-Հայաստան դաշինքի նախագահ Ալբերտ Վայլերը մեծ ակնկալիքներ ունի, որ Թուրքիան քաջություն կունենա ընդունելու սեփական անցյալը Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետ կապված: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին գերմանացի պատգամավորի գրասենյակից` ներկայացնելով հունիսի « 2-ին Բունդեսթագում Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին բանաձևի քննարկման վերաբերյալ Վայլերի դիրքորոշումն ու սպասումները:
«Հունիսի 2-ն Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ ժողովրդի և մյուս քրիստոնյա փոքրամասնությունների դեմ իրականացված ցեղասպանության ճանաչման վճռորոշ ամսաթիվ է: Հատկապես ողջունելի է, որ այս դեպքում կոալիցիոն կուսակցություններն ու Կանաչները համաձայնության են եկել միջկուսակցական բանաձևի հարցում: Ես բազմիցս` թե՛ խորհրդարանում ունեցած իմ ելույթների ժամանակ, թե՛ Հայաստանում, հայտարարել եմ, որ Գերմանիան` որպես Օսմանյան կայսրության դաշնակից, հատուկ հանձնառություն պետք է ստանձնի Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման և դատապարտման հարցում: Անգամ 101 տարի անց մենք պետք է աշխարհում բնակվող քրիստոնյա հայերի միլիոնավոր ժառանգներին ցույց տանք մեր վշտակցությունը»,- նշել է Վայլերը:
Նա ցավով է արձանագրել, որ Թուրքիան մինչև օրս չի ճանաչել պատմական իրողությունը: «Դժբախտաբար, Թուրքիան մինչև օրս քաջություն չի ցուցաբերում սեփական անցյալը և տեղի ունեցած անարդարությունը ճանաչելու հարցում: Հանձնառությունն ու անցյալի հետ առերեսումը հաշտեցման լավագույն ճանապարհը կարող էր լինել: Այս բանաձևի միջոցով մենք ցանկանում ենք նախապատրաստել այդ ճանապարհը և խրախուսել Թուրքիայի քաջ ժողովրդավար գործիչերին` փնտրելու Հայաստանի հետ արդար աշխատանքի և հաշտեցման ուղին, որպեսզի ապագայում երկու երկրներն իրար ավելի մոտ լինեն»,- երափակել է Գերմանիայի իշխող կոալիցիայի պատգամավորը:
