«Լեոնիդ Ազգալդյանն ասում էր՝ «Սա Հայաստան է և վերջ», ամուսինս ասում էր՝ «Սա Ղարաբաղն է և վերջ»: Միշտ ասում էր՝ կյանքս կտամ հայրենիքիս ու այդպես էլ արեց: Նախագահական նստավայրում տեղի ունեցած պարգևատրման արարողությունից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց փոխգնդապետ, «Մարտական խաչ» 2-րդ աստիճանի շքանշանակիր Արամ Առուշանյանի կինը՝ Էլլադա Դադանյանը, ով պարգևատրման էր եկել դստեր հետ: 

Արամը ծառայության է անցել 1990-ականներից, հրետանավոր էր: Կինը պատմում է, որ ամուսինն անցել է բազմաթիվ դժվարություններով: «Վերջերս էր անցել թոշակի, սակայն մշտապես գնում էր զորամասեր: Ասում էի՝ դու թոշակի ես անցել, ի՞նչ պետք է խոսես, ասում էր՝ դուխ եմ տալիս զինվորներին, իմանան, որ սա իրենց տունն է, հողն է: Ապրիլյան այդ գործողությունների ժամանակ իրեն հետ կանչեցին` որպես հին հրետնավոր: Լավ էր հասկանում  իր գործից։ Ցավս ծանր է, բայց որ իր ընտրած մահով է ընկել, մի քիչ ինձ հանգիստ եմ զգում, մեջս ուժ եմ գտնում: Բայց որ մահացած չեմ տեսել, ամբոխի մեջ անընդհատ իրեն եմ փնտրում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` պատմեց կինը` ավելացնելով, որ ամուսինը երբեք չէր կտրվում բանակից:

Տիկին Էլլադան պատմեց, որ դստերը պետք է հետազոտություններին տանեին, սակայն երբ ապրիլյան դեպքերը սկսվեցին, Արամը հրաժարվել է հեռանալ բնակավայրից: «Ապրիլի 23-ի գիշերն էր: Մարտակերտը հերտակոծում էին: Զանգեցի, ասացի Արամ, խփում են, չգիտեմ՝ չորս երեխուն ոնց գրկեմ: Պատի տակ կանգնել ենք: Հարցնում եմ՝ ի՞նչ անեմ: Ասում է՝ ոչ մի բան, թուրքն ով է, որ վախենաս: Մտի տուն, դուռը փակի: Ասում եմ՝ գնամ հիվանդանոցի նկուղը: Ասում է՝ բան չի լինի, ամոթ չէ՞, ես այստեղ եմ, դու գնաս նկուղնե՞րը: Հանգիստ մտի տուն, սպասի, կգամ: Սպասում եմ…»,- պատմեց Էլլադան:

4 անչափահաս երեխաների հայր 44-ամյա Արամ Առուշանյանը զոհվել է ապրիլի 25-ի լույս 26-ի գիշերը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում հակառակորդի կողմից կրակի դադարեցման պայմանավորվածությունների խախտման հետևանքով:
