«Հունիս ամսին Հայաստանի պետական տնտեսագիտական համալսարանում ռեկտորի ընտրություններ են սպասվում։ Գործող ռեկտոր Կորյուն Աթոյանի պաշտոնավարման ժամկետն արդեն սպառվում է։ «Առավոտի» տեղեկություններով՝ համալսարանի ռեկտորի պաշտոնին նոր հավակնորդ է հայտնվել՝ ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության սննդի անվտանգության ծառայության նախկին պետ Աբրամ Բախչագալյանը։ Մամուլում հրապարակումներ եղան, որ այդ պաշտոնին հավակնում է նաև բուհում դասախոսող, ԲՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Միքայել Մելքումյանը։ Վերջինս, սակայն, հերքեց՝ ասելով, որ Կորյուն Աթոյանն իր լավ ընկերն է։ 

Կորյուն Աթոյանը, ով արդեն հայտարարել է, որ նորից է առաջադրվելու, մտերիմ է նաև վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հետ։ Վարչապետը բուհի խորհրդի նախագահն է։ Աբրամ Բախչագուլյանը, հիշեցնենք, համարվում էր նախկին վարչապետ Տիգրան Սարգսյանի մտերիմներից։ Բավականին անհասկանալի պատճառներով նա թողեց պաշտոնը, և կարծես պետական կառավարման համակարգում նրա հնարավոր վերադարձի «դռները փակվեցին»։ Չնայած բավական երիտասարդ տարիքին, սեփական մանր-մունր բիզնեսներին զուգահեռ, ասում են՝ Բախչագուլյանը որոշել է նվիրվել գիտամանկավարժական աշխատանքին։ Նա նույնպես ՀՊՏՀ-ում դասախոսում է։ Երեկ պարոն Բախչագուլյանն այդպես էլ չարձագանքեց մեր հեռախոսազանգերին,   և հնարավոր  չեղավ «առաջին  Ձեռքից»  պարզել այս  տեղեկության  իսկությանը»,–գրում է թերթը։
