Սևանը Կովկասի ամենամեծ լիճն է: Եթե ձեզ գրավում են լեռնագագաթներն ու մաքուր օդը, ու միաժամանակ՝ կարիք ունեք լողափի, ուրեմն սա հենց ձեր տեղն է: Երևանից մինչև Սևանա լիճ 54 կմ է: Ջուրը լազուրե է ու շատ թափանցկ, ամռանը դրա ջերմաստիճանը հասնում է 24 աստիճանի: Պատմական հուշարձաններից ամենահայտնին Սևանավանքի մենաստանն է, որը գտնվում է Սևանա թերակղզում:

Կենտրոնական Եվրոպայյի խոշորագույն լիճը գտնվում է Հունգարիայի արևմուտքում: Բոդենի լիճ (Ավստրիա, Գերմանիա, Շվեյցարիա) Խորությունը մինչև 254 մետրի է հասնում: Մակերեսով այն Եվրոպայում զիջում է միայն Բալատոնին ու Ժնևի լճին:
Բլեդի լիճ, Սլովենիա
Գտնվում է երկրի մայրաքաղաք Լյուբլյանայից 45 կմ հյուսիս-արևմուտք: Բլեդի կենտրոնում գտնվում է ոչ մեծ կղզի եկեղեցիով ու վաղ Միջնադարի ձեռագրերով:
