Մեծ Բրիտանիա միգրանտների հոսքը գրեթե հասել Է պատմության մեջ առավելագույն մակարդակին: Այդ մասին ասված Է իշխանությունների վերջին հաշվետվության մեջ, որը թողարկվել Է Եվրամիությանն անդամակցության հարցի շուրջ հանրաքվեի նախաշեմին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Երկիր միգրանտների հոսքի պատմական ռեկորդը՝ տարեկան 336 հազար մարդ, արձանագրվել Է անցյալ տարվա հունիսին: Այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր երկիր Է ժամանել 333 հազար միգրանտ, ասված Է նոր հաշվետվության մեջ:
Միգրացիայի եւ միգրանտների իրավունքների հարցն այն խնդիրներից մեկն Է, որոնք Եվրամիությունից Մեծ Բրիտանիայի դուրս գալու շուրջը ծավալված բանավեճերի ուշադրության կենտրոնում են:
Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կառավարությունն առաջարկում Է Եվրամիությունից ժամանած միգրանտներին արգելել որոշակի տեսակների նպաստների ստացումը երկրում գտնվելու առաջին չորս տարվա ընթացքում: Սակայն Եվրահանձնաժողովն արդեն խիստ վիճահարույց Է համարել այս առաջարկությունը:
Ներկայում քննարկվում Է այն բանի հնարավորությունը, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կառավարությանը իրավունք տրվի չորս տարվա ընթացքում կիրառել այսպես կոչված «արտակարգ արգելակ» եւ հատուկ դեպքերում սահմանափակել սոցիալական ծառյություններից միգրանտների օգտվելու հնարավորությունը:
