ՀՀ օմբուդսմենը մասնակցում է եվրոպական երկրների Օմբուդսմենների մասնակցությամբ հատուկ համաժողովին

ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանը Ստրասբուրգում մասնակցում է ԵԽ Ռասիզմի եւ անհանդուրժողականության դեմ հանձնաժողովի՝ եվրոպական երկրների Օմբուդսմենների մասնակցությամբ հատուկ համաժողովին: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմից: 

Այլ հարցերի հետ համաժողովը նվիրված է նաեւ ռասայական ատելության կանխարգելման հարցերին, ինչպես նաեւ օրենսդիր մարմինների հետ համագործակցությանը: 

Համաժողովի ընթացքում կարեւորվել է օմբուդսմենների հաստատությունների դերը ռասայական, էթնիկական պատկանելիության հիմքով ատելության դեմ պայքարում: Այս դերը պետք է իրացվի օրենսդրական ակտերի բարելավմանը, այդ ոլորտում պետության քաղաքականության իրականացմանը նպաստելու միջոցով: 

Արման Թաթոյանը համաժողովի ընթացքում կարեւորել է ատելության բացառման ուղղությամբ առավել ակտիվ ջանքեր գործադրելու անհրաժեշտությունը, որը պետք է իրականացվի միջազգային բոլոր իրավասու կառույցների համատեղ ջանքերով: Ըստ Ա.Թաթոյանի՝ այդպիսի քայլեր չձեռնարկելը վտանգավոր է ողջ եվրոպայի խորհրդի իրավապաշտպան համակարգի համար եւ անխուսափելիորեն ստանում է այնպիսի դաժան դրսեւորումներ, ինչպիսիք են խոշտանգումները, անդամահատումները եւ այլն: Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը կարեւորել է այս հարցում աշխատանքը ինչպես խորհրդարանական հանձնաժողովների, այնպես էլ առանձին պատգամավորների հետ: 

Համաժողովի ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաեւ Եվրոպայի խորհրդի իրավական չափանիշները ատելության բացառման ոլորտում, ինչպես նաեւ անընդհատ փոփոխվող մարտահրավերներին համապատասխան նոր չափանիշներ սահմանելու հարցը:
