 Գերմանիայի Բունդեսթագի կողմից հունիսի 2-ին քննարկվելիք Հայոց ցեղասպանության բանաձևի ընդունումը կարևոր է դաժան ոճրագործության վերաբերյալ հիշողությունը մշտարթուն պահելու համար:ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարեց Գերմանիայի Հանրապետության Բունդեսթագի փոխնախագահ Էդելգարդ Բուլմահնը, ով մինչ այդ հանդիպել էր ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովին և քննարկել երկկողմ կարևորության հարցեր: «Այս բանաձևում առաջին հերթին կդատապարտվեն Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ ժողովորդի ու այլ ազգերի նկատմամբ կատարված տեղահանումները, ջանդերն ու բռնությունները: Մենք կարծում ենք, որ առաջին հերթին կարևոր է այդ հիշողությունը մշտարթուն պահելու հարցը: Ուստի այս բանաձևում հիշատակելու ենք Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերին, բացի այդ դատապարտելու ենք այն տխրահռչակ դերը, որ ունեցել է Գերմանիան, այն ժամանակ լինելով Թուրքիայի դաշնակիցը, և չի կանխել ոճրագործությունը»,-ասաց Բունդեսթագի փոխնախագահը:

Գերմանացի պաշտոնյան, խոսելով իր երկրի ու ժողովրդի փորձի մասին` կապված Հոլոքոստի ճանաչման հետ, նկատեց, որ պատասխանատվության ստանձնումը նշանակում է դա սերունդներին փոխանցելու պարտավորություն: «Թուրքիայում գնալով ավելանում է այն մարդկանց թիվը, ովքեր համարձակորեն առերեսվում են իրենց պատմությանն ու քննադատական մոտեցում ցուցաբերում այն ժամանակվա կառավարության արարքներին»,-ասաց Էդելգարդ Բուլմահնը: Բունդեսթագի փոխնախագահը հավելեց, որ իրենք ցանկանում են պատասխանատվություն ստանձնել հայ և թուրք հասարակություններին սերտացնելու, նրանց միջև երկխոսության եզրեր գտնելու իմաստով, որպեսզի համատեղ առերեսվեն իրենց պատմությանը:
