Հանրապետական կուսակցությունից ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի պաշտոնի հավակնորդ Դոնալդ Թրամփը, հասարակական կարծիքի հարցումների համաձայն, կրճատում Է իր հետ մնալը նախկին պետքարտուղար Հիլարի Քլինթոնից՝ Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից առավել հավանական թեկնածուից: 

Այսպես, հարցման տվյալներով, որն անցկացվել է ABC հեռուստաալիքի եւ The Washington Post թերթի պատվերով, Թրամփի օգտին արտահայտվել Է հարցման մասնակիցների 46 տոկոսը, Քլինթոնի օգտին՝ 44 տոկոսը: Թեեւ տարբերությունը վիճակագրության սխալանքի շրջանակներում Է, սա առաջին դեպքն Է, երբ Թրամփը ժողովրդականությամբ առաջ Է անցել Դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունից իր հակառակորդից:

Հեռուստաալիքը նշում Է, որ Թրամփն առաջատարն Է տղամարդկանց, սպիտակամորթ ամերիկացիների, համալսարանական դիպլոմ չունեցող քաղաքացիների եւ 40-ից բարձր տարիքի ընտրողների շրջանում: Միեւնույն ժամանակ Քլինթոնն ավելի մեծ ժողովրդականություն Է վայելում կանանց, ոչ սպիտակամորթ ընտրողների, համալսարանների շրջանավարտների եւ 18-ից մինչեւ 39 տարեկան ամերիկացիների շրջանում:

Մինչդեռ Wall Street Journal/NBC News-ի հարցման համաձայն՝ այժմ Քլինթոնի օգտին պատրաստ Է քվեարկել ամերիկացիների 46 տոկոսը, նրա մրցակցի օգտին՝ 43 տոկոսը:

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի պաշտոնի առավել հավանական թեկնածուների միջեւ ներկայիս տարբերությունը, որը կազմում Է ընդամենը 3 տոկոսային կետ, զգալիորեն պակաս Է ապրիլյան 11 կետից: Ընդ որում՝ առաջին անգամ Քլինթոնի աջակցման մակարդակը ցած Է ընկել 50 տոկոսից, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
