«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. «Պանամական փաստաթղթերի գաղտնազերծումից հետո թիրախավորվեց ՀՀ նախկին գլխավոր հարկադիր կատարող Միհրան Պողոսյանը: Հասկանալի է, որ թիրախում կարող էին հայտնվել հայաստանյան էլիտայից շատ շատերը, քանի որ, իրականում, տարբեր օֆշորներում հաշիվներ ունեն իշխանության բազմաթիվ ներկայացուցիչներ: Այդ դեպքում ինչո՞ւ հենց Մ. Պողոսյանը: Թերեւս նրան իշխանության ներսում թուլացնելու խնդիր կար դրված, քանի որ նա համարվում էր Սերժ Սարգսյանի վստահելին, սիրելին եւ անձեռնմխելին: Ու հենց իշխանական շատ խողովակներ էին ջանում թեժացնել Միհրան Պողոսյանի շուրջ բարձրացված աղմուկը, եւ ներսում էլ որոշվեց ԴԱՀԿ ազդեցությունը էապես մեծացրած եւ Հայաստանի ամենահզոր ուժային կառույցներից մեկը դարձրած Պողոսյանի ակտիվությունը կասեցնել: Ինքը՝ Պողոսյանը, սկզբում լռում էր, բայց հետո հրապարակեց փաստաթղթեր՝ ըստ որոնց շվեյցարական այն բանկում, որը նշված էր պանամական փաստաթղթերում, ինքը երբեք հաշիվ չի ունեցել: Եւ վերջին զարգացումները ցույց են տալիս, որ Մ. Պողոսյանի դիրքերն այդքան էլ չեն թուլացել»:
