ԱՄՆ-ի Նեշվիլ քաղաքում (Թենեսիի նահանգ) 74 տարեկան հասակում վախճանվել Է ամերիկացի հայտնի երգիչ եւ քանթրի ոճի երգերի հեղինակ Գայ Քլարքը: Ինչպես հաղորդում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս տեղեկատվությունն Associated Press (AP) գործակալությանը հավաստել Է երաժշտի ներկայացուցիչ Քեյթ Քեյսը:  

Երաժիշտը կյանքի օրոք մտել Է քանթրի ոճով կոմպոզիցիաների շատ հեղինակավոր հեղինակների շարքը: Քլարքը գործեր Է ստեղծել այնպիսի հռչակավոր կատարողների համար, ինչպիսիք են Ջոնի Քեշը, Ռիքի Սքագսը, Ջերի Ջեֆ Ուոլքերը, Բոբի Բերը, Վինսենթ Գիլը եւ Ջոն Քոնլին: Նրա ամենահանրաճանաչ հիթերն են համարվում L.A. Freeway-ը, Desperados Waiting for a Train-ը, She Ain't Going Nowhere-ը եւ Texas 1947-ը:
