Տղամարդը ողջ է մնացել գլխի հրազենային վնասվածքից հետո եւ ապրում է ուղեղում գնդակով

Մեծ Բրիտանիայից երկու երեխայի 28-ամյա հայր Բեն Սիթը հրաշքով ողջ է մնացել գլխի հրազենային վնասվածքից հետո եւ այժմ ապրում է ուղեղում գնդակով, որովհետեւ, բժիշկների խոսքով, գործնականում անհնար է հանել այն: Այժմ գլխի ցանկացած վնասվածք կամ հարված կարող է տեղաշարժել գնդակը եւ սպանել տղամարդուն:  

Բենը ճագարի որս էր անում, երբ նրա ընկերը կատակով նրա վրա էր ուղղել որսորդական հրազենը եւ սեղմել էր ձգանը: Ընկերը վստահ էր, որ հրազենը լիցքավորված չէ, սակայն փողերից մեկում փամփուշտ կար: Այդպես Բենը հիվանդանոցում էր հայտնվել հրազենային վնասվածքով: 

Նման վնասվածքները սովորաբար մահացու են լինում, բայց Բենը ողջ մնաց: Հինգ ամիս տեւած բուժումից եւ վերականգնումից հետո նա այս տարվա հունվարին վերադարձավ աշխատանքի: Սակայն վիրաբույժներն այդպես էլ չկարողացան նրա գլխից հանել փամփուշտը. վիրահատությունը չափազանց ռիսկային համարվեց: Այդպես Բենն այժմ ապրում է մշտական վախի մեջ, չէ որ գլխի ցանկացած վնասվածք կամ հարված կարող է հանգեցնել գնդակի տեղաշարժմանը, ուղեղի վնասման եւ մահվան:  

«Ես չէի կարողանում հավատալ բժիշկներին, երբ ինձ ասացին, որ գնդակը մնացել է ուղեղումս,- պատմում է Բենը: Ցավոք սրտի, չի կարելի այնտեղից հանել դա, որովհետեւ դա կարող է լուրջ  հետեւանքներ ունենալ: Բժիշկները հույս ունեն, որ այն փորոքով  ներքեւ կշարժվի, ինչից հետո հնարավոր կլինի այն դուրս քաշել:  Բայց այսուհետեւ ես պիտի հանգիստ կենսակերպ վարեպ, խուսափեմ այնպիսի իրավիճակներից, որոնց դեպքում հնարավոր է գլխի վնասվածք ստանալ: Բարեբախտաբար ինձ թույլ են տալիս սեքսով զբաղվել»:

Չնայած գլխի հրազենային վնասվածք ստացած մարդուն չի կարելի հաջողակ անվանել, այնուամենայնիվ, Բենի բախտը շատ է բերել. գնդակն ընկել է երրորդ փորոք եւ մնացել է հեղուկով լցված տարածքում: Հրազենային գնդակը փոքր արագություն ունի եւ այն հայտնվել է հենց այն մասում, որտեղ առայժմ առողջության համար լուրջ սպառնալիք չի ներկայացնում:
