ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահները հանդես են եկել հայտարարությամբ, որտեղ նշել են, որ եկել է Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպման ժամանակը:
Հայտարարությունում, մասնավոերապես, ասվում է.
«ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահներ Իգոր Պոպովը (Ռուսաստան), Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը (ԱՄՆ) եւ Պիեր Անդրյուն (Ֆրանսիա) նախկինի պես ամբողջությամբ հավատարիմ են մնում ԼՂ հակամարտության տեւական կարգավորման հասնելուն::
Վերջին բռնությունների եւ շփման գծում լարվածությունը թուլացնելու անհրաժեշտության լույսի ներքո մենք հավատում ենք, որ եկել է Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի նախագահների հանդիպման ժամանակը:
Մեր արտաքին գործերի նախարարները պատրաստ են նպաստելու այդ հանդիպման կազմակերպմանը հաջորդ շաբաթ Վիեննայում: Նրանց հիմնական խնդիրը կլինի ամրապնդել հրադադարի ռեժիմը եւ հասնել վստահություն սերմանող միջոցների շուրջ համաձայնության, ինչը բարենպաստ պայմաններ կստեղծի բանակցությունների վերսկսման համար` հանուն համապարփակ կարգավորման` հիմնված քննարկվող հիմնարար տարրերի եւ սկզբունքների վրա:
Բանակցությունները հաջողություն չեն ունենա, եթե բռնությունը շարունակվի, եւ չի կարող լինել խաղաղություն, առանց բանակցային գործընթացի: Մենք հաստատում ենք, որ հակամարտությունը զինված կարգավորում չի կարող ունենալ»:
