Միակ բանը, որ Հայաստանը ցանկանում է, խաղաղությունն է: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին ասել է «Եվրատեսիլ-2016»-ի հայաստանյան պատվիրակ Իվետա Մուկուչյանը կիսաեզրափակիչից հետո տեղի ունեցած մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ` պատասխանելով «կանաչ սենյակում» Արցախի դրոշը բարձրացնելու մասին հարցին:

«Դուք չպետք է մոռանաք, որ ես ներկայացնում եմ իմ երկիրը, և իմ սիրտը, իմ մտքերը, զգացմունքներն ու բոլոր ապրումները մայր հայրենիքիս հետ են: Միակ բանը, որ ես ցանկանում եմ ասել և տարածել, հետևյալն է` խաղաղություն: Ես միայն խաղաղություն եմ ցանկանում սահմաններին, Հայաստանը խաղաղություն է ցանկանում: Հենց այս պատճառով էլ գրել եմ այս երգը` ցանկանալով տարածել «սիրո ալիքներ»: Իմ ցանկությունն է, որ ամենուր խաղաղություն լինի: Ես բարձրացրեցի դրոշը, քանի որ ցանկանում էի, որ մարդիկ կենտրոնանան այս խնդրի վրա: Ես միայն խաղաղություն եմ ցանկանում այս աշխարհում»,- ասել է Իվետա Մուկուչյանը:

Միջազգային հանրությանը «Եվրատեսիլ-2016»-ի առաջին կիսաեզրափակչում մայիսի 11-ին Իվետա Մուկուչյանը ներկայացավ գերզգացմունքային LoveWave ստեղծագործությամբ` հանդես գալով 7-րդ համարի ներքո: Կիսաեզրափակիչի արդյունքներով` նա կշարունակի պայքարը մրցույթի եզրափակիչում: Հայաստանի հետ պայքարը եզրափակիչում կշարունակեն Ռուսաստանը, Ադրբեջանը, Նիդերլանդները, Հունգարիան, Խորվաթիան, Ավստրիան, Չեխիան, Կիպրոսը և Մալթան:
