Մայորի 4 որդիներն վստահ էին, որ իրենց հայրն անպայման տուն կգա

Մայոր Սուրեն Մելքումյանի ծառայողական բնակարանի միջանցքի ձախ անկյունում թողած հերթափոխի զինվորական երկարաճիտք կոշիկները դեռ տիրոջն են սպասում:
Ապրիլի 1-ին՝ երեկոյան ժամը 10-ի սահմաններում մայոր Սուրեն Մելքումյանը զանգել է տուն՝ զգուշացնելու, որ հերթապահ է, իրեն չսպասեն այդ օրը։
Կինը՝ Արևը, միայն հասցրել է հետաքրքրվել, թե արդյոք մի բան կերե՞լ է։ Ի պատասխան՝ լսելով, որ ամեն ինչ կարգին է, կինը հանգիստ սրտով երեխաների հետ պառկել է քնելու։
«Առավոտյան, ինչպես միշտ, 3 տղաներին պատրաստվում էի դպրոց ուղարկել, իսկ 4-րդ տղայիս մանկապարտեզ պտի տանեյի։ Փողոցում մարդիկ անհանգիստ էին, ինչ-որ բան են ակտիվ քննարկում։ Հարցրի՝ ի՞նչ է եղել, ասացին, թե ամբողջ գիշեր սահմանում կրակում էին։ Մեր տան դիրքն այնպիսինն է, որ ես ոչ մի ձայն չեմ լսում»,-հիշում է Արևը։
Հետո գյուղից ամուսնու ծնողներն են զանգել ու տեղեկացրել, որ Ներքին Ճարտարի դպրոցի վրա են կրակել ու հորդորել երեխաների դպրոց չուղարկել։
«Կեսրարս ուզում էր մեզ գյուղ տանել, բայց առանց Սուրենին տեղյակ պահելու ես չէի ուզում գյուղ գնալ։ Կեսրարս այնքան համոզեց, որ ես երեխաների հետ գնացի մեր հայրական գյուղ` Տումի»,-պատմում է նա։
Ամբողջ օրն Արևը հեռախոսը ձեռից ցած չի դրեր, անընդհատ զանգել է ամուսնուն, բայց միշտ անհասանլեի է եղել։ Ապրիլի 2-ին լուր են ստացել, որ Սուրենի զինակիցներից մեկը՝ ավագ լեյտենանտ Մաքսիմ Գրիգորյանն է զոհվել։
«Մաքսիմին մանկուց ճանաչում էի, մի գյուղից ենք։ Ցավալի էր լսել նրա զոհվելու մասին։ Այդ ժամանակ բոլորը գիտեին, որ Սուրենն էլ Մաքսիմի հետ էր, բայց ոչ մեկ ինձ ոչինչ չասեց այդ մասին»,- հիշում է Արևը։
Ապրիլի 3-ին արդեն Սուրենի հեռախոսին ադրբեջանցի էր պատասխանել։ Սկզբում կինը չի հավատացել, որ Սուրենը զոհվել է։ Մտածել է՝ կռիվ տալուց գուցե հեռախոսը ընկել է գրպանից։ Բայց երբ հերթական զանգին պատասխանելիս գծի այն կողմից ադրբեջանական ակցենտով ռուսերեն ասել են Սուրենի անուն-ազգանունն ու կոչումը, բոլոր կասկածները փարատվել են։
«Ալրիլի 4-ին Կարմիր Խաչը եղել է այդ դիրքերում, բայց Սուրոյին Էնտեղ չեն գտել։ Ես մտածում էի, որ հասցրել է ինչ- որ տեղ թաքնվել։Մինչև վերջին պահը չէի ուզում հավատալ, որ նա այլևս չկա»,- վերհիշում է Արևը։
Չնայած հույսը միշտ փայփայել էր, սակայն հոգու խորքում Արևը գիտակցել է, որ ամուսնին էլ չկա: Ասում է՝ ապրիլի 2-ից սիրտը մրմռում էր։
«Ապրիլի 1-ին գործի ճանապարհելուց ասացի՝ Սուրո, արդեն տաք է, թեթև հագնվի, ինքն էլ առարկեց, թե՝ չէ, զինվորական տաք սվիտերս տուր, դա է իսկական համազգեստը։ Հետո, երբ ապրիլի 2-ին ու 3-ին սարերում ձյուն էր եկել, մտքումս ուրախացա, որ տաք է հագնվել, չի մրսի անտառում, ի՞նչ իմնայաի, որ նա այլևս չկա»,- շարունակում է Արևը։
Մայորի 4 որդիներն ապրիլյան այդ օրերին ապրում էին իրենց ամենօրյա կյանքով, վստահ, որ իրենց հայրիկն անպայման տուն կգա, չէ որ նա լավ որսորդ էր և շատ լավ կողմնորոշվում էր անտառում։
«Ամեն անգամ ասում էի՝ տեսնես մի օր կլինի դու էլ քո տղաներին դպրոց տանես մնացած հայրերի նման։ Նա միշտ պատասխանում էր՝ բան չմնաց, տարուսկեսից թոշակի կանցնեմ ու ամեն ինչ լավ կլինի։ Նա միշտ ինձ դուխ էր տալիս»,-ասում է Արևը և հիշում, որ Սուրենը միշտ ասում էր, որ ինքն իր 4 որդիների տեղն էլ է ծառայում։
