ՀՀ կառավարությունը հավանություն տվեց Արցախի անկախության ճանաչման հարցին: Առաջիկայում սպասվում են խորհրդարանական քննարկումներ:«Արցախի Հանրապետությունը ճանաչելու մասին» օրենքի նախագծի շուրջ Past.am-ը զրուցել է ադրբեջանագետ Գրիգորի Այվազյանի հետ:

Այվազյանն ասաց, որ մեկնաբանությունները, թե Մինսկի խմբի մասնակցությամբ բանակցությունների իմաստը կկորի, եթե ՀՀ-ն ճանաչի Ղարաբաղի անկախությունը, սխալ մոտեցման արդյունք է:Իրականում, ըստ նրա, Մինսկի խմբի իմաստը ոչ թե այն է, որ Հայաստանը ճանաչի ԼՂՀ անկախությունը, այլ նրանում՝ կճանաչի՞ Ադրբեջանն այդ անկախությունը և ի՞նչ պայմաններում դա կանի:

Պարոն Այվազյանի խոսքով՝ եթե Հայաստանը ճանաչի Արցախի անկախությունը, ապա դա բոլորովին չի խանգարի բանակցություններին: «Շատ կարևոր է այդ խնդիրը բարձրացնելը ՀՀ կառավարությունում և Ազգային ժողովում»,- ընդգծեց ադրբեջանագետը և հավելեց, որ Հայաստանն ինքնիշխան պետություն է, որևէ մեկից չպետք է թույլտվություն խնդրի, որպեսզի ճանաչի ԼՂՀ անկախությունը: 

Գրիգորի Այվազյանի համոզմամբ՝ Ղարաբաղն անպայման պետք է վերադառնա բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ, այս ճանաչումն էլ շատ օգտակար կլինի: Հայաստանը ճանաչում է, Ղարաբաղը վերադառնում է բանակցությունների սեղանին՝ որպես ճանաչված սուբյեկտ: «Կարծում եմ՝ մեր երկրի պատասխանատու մարդիկ գիտեն այդ բալանսավորման հարցը: Օրինակ՝ Ֆրանսիան և մյուս եվրոպական երկրները ումի՞ց են հարցրել, երբ ճանաչել են Սերբիան, Ռուսաստանն ումի՞ց է հարցրել, երբ ճանաչել է Օսիան, Աբխազիան կամ Ղրիմի ճանաչման և միացման ժամանակ:

Ղարաբաղի ճանաչումն էլ Հայաստանի գործն է: Ես ավելի քան համոզված եմ, որ Ադրբեջանը կհարձակվի Ղարաբաղի վրա: ճիշտ գործ է արվել, որ օրենքի նախագիծն ուղարկվել է Ազգային ժողով, որպեսզի չկորցնենք ժամանակը: Առաջին իսկ պահից, երբ Ադրբեջանն անցնի լայնածավալ հարձակման, մենք կճանաչենք Արցախի անկախությունը, դա երկար սպասեցնել չի տա: Իսկ միջազգային հանրությունը, ի դեմս ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի, ոչ մի իրավունք չունի նախատել հայկական կողմին, հատկապես այն փաստից հետո, երբ հասցեական մեղադրանք չներկայացրեց ագրեսոր Ադրբեջանին: Հայկական կողմը ոչ մեկից չպետք է թույլտվություն խնդրի, թե երբ ճանաչի Արցախի անկախությունը»,- նշեց Գրիգորի Այվազյանը:
