Ուրցաձորում բացվել է վայրի կենդանիների փրկարար կենտրոն

Այն գործելու է Վայրի բնության եւ մշակութային արժեքների պահպանման հիմնադրամի կողմից պահպանվող տարածքում՝ Կովկասյան կենսաբազմազանության ապաստարանում: Արդեն պատրաստ է կենտրոնի կառույցներից մեկը՝ կարանտինային կայանը, որտեղ ժամանակավորապես կտեղափոխվեն Գյումրիի մասնավոր կենդանաբանական այգու երեք առյուծները:Կենդանիներն Ուրցաձոր են տեղափոխվել FPWC-ի եւ Կենդանաբույժների համաշխարհային ծառայության համակարգված գործողությունների շնորհիվ:
Կարանտինային կայանի կառուցման, ինչպես նաեւ առյուծների կերակրման եւ խնամքի բոլոր ծախսերը հոգացել է Կենդանաբույժների համաշխարհային ծառայությունը: Հայաստանում առյուծների համար ապահովված կարանտինային փուլին կհաջորդի եւս մեկը՝ բրիտանական Manor Wildlife Park-ը: Այնուհետեւ առյուծները կտեղափոխվեն ժամանակակից չափորոշիչներով կառուցված Peak Wildlife Park-ի ապաստարան:
Նախագծի շրջանակում FPWC-ի, ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության եւ բնապահպանության նախարարության միջեւ ստորագրվելու է եռակողմ համագործակցության հուշագիր, որը կամրագրի վայրի կենդանիների միջեւ հնարավոր միջադեպերի կանոնակարգված, մասնագիտական կառավարման հարցում կողմերի պատրաստակամությունը:
Նախագծին իր երկարաժամկետ աջակցությունն է հայտնել FPWC-ի գլխավոր գործընկեր «ՎիվաՍել-ՄՏՍ»-ը՝ կենտրոնին հատկացնելով նորագույն տեխնիկայով համալրված շտապօգնության ավտոմեքենա: Վայրի բնության փրկարար կենտրոնի փորձագիտական խմբի կազմը կներկայացնեն FPWC-ի, ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության եւ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության մասնագետները: Վայրի բնության մեջ կամ քաղաքային միջավայրում մարդկային գործունեության հետեւանքով խոցելի իրավիճակում հայտնված (եւ/կամ վտանգ ներկայացնող) կենդանիներին զննելու է մասնագետների խումբը, որի եզրակացության հիման վրա, ըստ անհրաժեշտության, տրամադրվելու է համապատասխան բուժօգնություն եւ խնամք: Դրան հաջորդելու է միջազգային ապաստարաններից կենդանիների վերադարձը վայրի բնություն:
Փրկարար կենտրոնի թիրախում են լինելու այնպիսի խնդիրներ, ինչպիսիք են մարդկային միջամտությամբ վայրի բնությանը հասցված վնասը, անազատ կամ կիսազատ պայմաններում պահվող կենդանիները, դրանց հանդեպ դաժան վերաբերմունքը եւ խոշտանգումը: Վայրի բնության փրկարար կենտրոնը իրականացնելու է նաեւ տեղեկատվական եւ կրթական արշավներ՝ ընդդեմ վայրի կենդանիների ապօրինի շահագործման եւ դրա հետեւանքների:
