Դպրոցական տարիքի շուրջ 462 մլն երեխաներ ապրում են այնպիսի երկրներում, որտեղ հումանիտար ճգնաժամ Է տիրում հակամարտությունների կամ տարերային աղետների պատճառով: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս տվյալները մայիսի 4-ին տարածել Է ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկական հիմնադրամը (Unicef):
«Դպրոցահասակ երեխաների գրեթե քառորդ մասը՝ 462 մլն մարդ, ապրում Է հումանիտար աղետների ճիրաններում հայտնված երկրներում»,-ասված Է Unicef-ի հաղորդագրության մեջ: Հիմնադրամում նշում են, որ մոլորակի թեժ կետերում ապրող 3-ից մինչեւ 18 տարեկան 75 մլն երեխաներ շտապօգնության կարիք ունեն կրթություն ստանալու հարցում: Ընդ որում՝ կրթական ծրագրերին բաժին Է ընկնում մարդասիրական օգնության ցուցաբերման գլոբալ պահանջների ընդամենը 2 տոկոսը:
Unicef-ի տվյալներով՝ տարրական եւ միջին դասարանների սովորողների տարիքի 37 միլիոնից ավելի երեխաներ դպրոց չեն հաճախում, ընդ որում՝ կրթական հաստատությունների թիվը շարունակում Է կրճատվել հակամարտությունների ու տարերային աղետների պատճառով: Այդ առումով առավել ծանր դրություն Է դիտվում Սիրիայում, որտեղ հինգ տարվա մարտական գործողությունների ընթացքում ավելի քան 6 հազար դպրոց Է փակվել: Երկրի կրթական հաստատությունների շենքերը ենթարկվում են հարձակումների, զբաղեցված են զինվորականների կողմից կամ վերածվել են ապաստանների»,-նշում են ՄԱԿ-ի Մանկակա ն հիմնադրամում:
Նիգերիայի հյուսիս-արեւելքում եւ Կամերունում, որտեղ կրթության դեմ պայքար Է մղում «Բոկո հարամ» ահաբեկչական խմբավորումը, փակվել Է ավելի քան 1800 դպրոց: Վիճակն անմխիթար Է նաեւ հակամարտության ասպարեզի վերածված Կենտրոնաֆրիկյան Հանրապետությունում, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
