Ժամը 21:30-ի սահմաններում Աբովյան փողոցի թիվ 66ա շենքի մոտ բախվել են 38-ամյա Ալիկ Ղազարյանի վարած Hyundai մակնիշի 1193 Տ համարանիշի մարդատար ավտոբուսը, 50-ամյա Կարեն Տոնոյանի վարած Mercedes ML մակնիշի Օ 095 HT 777 համարանիշի և 23-ամյա Ռուբեն Մկրտչյանի վարած Volkswagen Golf մակնիշի 41 RM 400 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենաները:
Ինչպես հայտնում է ֆտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, վթարի հետևանքով, բարեբախտաբար, զոհեր և վիրավորներ չկան: Գ. Շամշյանի տեղեկություններով` վթարի մեղավորը եղել է Hyundai ավտոբուսի վարորդը, որը սպասարկում է թիվ 46 երթուղին, որի վարորդը ավտոբուսը վարելով մեծ արագությամբ` բախվել է կայանված Mercedes-ին, Mercedes-ն էլ առաջ ընթանալով` հարվածել է Volkswagen-ին:
Օպերատիվորեն վթարի վայրե են ժամանել Արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարության փրակարար ծառայության թիվ 8 հրշեջ-փրկարարական ջոկատը` 1 մարտական հաշվարկով, ովքեր հոսանքազրկել են ավտոմեքենաները, փակել գազաբալոնները:
Օպերատիվորեն ժամանել է նաև 1-03 շտապօգնության հերթապահ խումբը, սակայն վարորդները հայտնել են, որ հրաժարվում են բժշկական օգնությունից, քանի որ վնասվածքներ չունեն:
