«Լեսթեր»-ը նվաճեց անգլիական Պրեմիեր լիգայի չեմպիոնի կոչումը

Անգլիական Պրեմիեր լիգայի չեմպիոնության հիմնական հավակնորդ «Լեսթեր»-ը Անգլիայի ֆուտբոլի ընթացիկ առաջնության ավարտից 2 տուր առաջ հռչակվել է չեմպիոն` իրական սենսացիա գրանցելով:
«Արմենպրես»-ը հաղորդում է, որ մայիսի 2-ին Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայի 36-րդ տուրի շրջանակներում «Լեսթեր»-ի հիմնական մրցակից «Տոտենհեմ»-ը չի կարողացել հաղթել Լոնդոնի «Չելսի»-ին` ոչ-ոքի` 2-2 ավարտելով հանդիպումը:
Առաջնության ավարտից 2 տուր առաջ «Լեսթեր»-ը մոտակա մրցակցի նկատմամբ ունի 7 միավորի առավելություն, ասել է թե` դարձել է անհասանելի: Եթե անգամ առաջիկա երկու տուրում բախտը չժպտա «Լեսթեր»-ին, և Կլաուդիո Ռանիերիի թիմը պարտվի, ապա, միևնույն է, թիմն անհասանելի է իր բոլոր մրցակիցներից:
Մրցաշրջանից առաջ «Լեսթեր»-ի` չեմպիոնության գործակիցը բուքմեյքերական գրասենյակների կողմից գնահատվում էր 5000-ը 1-ի: Իր պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ «Լեսթեր»-ը նվաճել է Անգլիայի Պրեմիեր լիգայի չեմպիոնի` վերջին 38 տարիներին դառնալով միակ նոր թիմը, որին հաջողվում է չեմպիոնության հասնել` նախկինում չեմպիոն հռչակվելու փորձ ունեցած չլինելով:
«Լեսթեր»-ը 24-րդ ակումբն է, որին հաջողվել է տիրանալ Անգլիայի առաջնության հաղթողի կոչմանը:
