Սիրիահայերին օգնելու նպատակով ուխտագնացություն կկազմակերպվի Արարատ լեռ

Ավստրալահայ Սասուն Գրիգորյանը մտադիր է փոքրիկ խմբի հետ բարձրանալ Արարատ լեռը՝  սիրիահայ երեխաներին օգնելու նպատակով:  Գրիգորյանն այդ կերպ հույս ունի դրամ հավաքագրել, որը կտրամադրվի Սիրիայում տիրող երկարամյա պատերազմից տուժած հայերին, ովքեր ապաստան են գտել պատմական հայրենիք Հայաստանում: Ինչպես հաղորդո ւմ է  Արմենպրեսը՝ վկայակոչելով ավստրալական ABC լրատվամիջոցը, լեռնագնացությունը կազմակերպել է ՄԱԿ ՓԳՀ ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ «Առաքելություն Հայաստան» բարեգործական հասարակական կազմակերպությունը:

Արարատի գագաթը բարձրանալը եղել է Սասուն Գրիգորյանի կյանքի երազանքը: «Արարատը խորհրդանշական լեռ է, որը մեծ ազդեցություն է ունեցել հայ ժողովրդի վրա: Ենթադրաբար այստեղ է իջել Նոյան տապանը» ,- ասել է Գրիգորյանը:

Ավստրալահայ երիտասարդի համար, սակայն, Արարատի գագաթը բարձրանալը նաև յուրօրինակ ուխտագնացություն է` նվիրված Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարիներին Ասվտրալիայի ցուցաբերած օժանդակությանը հայերին: Ավստրալիան առաջին երկիրն էր, որ Լիբանանում հիմնեց հակական որբանոց:

Իսկ Կանբերայում Նոր Հարավային Ուելս համալսարանի պատմաբան Փիթեր Սթենլին նշել է, որ լեռնագնացությունը դեպի Արարատի գագաթ  խորհրդանշում է հայ-ավստրալական սերտ կապերը: «Կարծում եմ դա յուրօրինակ անդրադարձ է  այն ահռելի օգնությանը, որ Ասվտրալիան տրամադրել է Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի ժամանակ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից տուժածների տառապանքները թեթևացնելու համար»,- նման կարծիք է հայտնել ավստրալացի պատմաբանը:

Սիրիայում բռնկված պատերազմի հետևանքով մոտ երեք տարվա ընթացքում շուրջ 15 հազար սիրիահայ է եկել Հայաստան, նրանց մի մասը վերադարձել է Սիրիա, իսկ ավելի փոքր հատվածը` Եվրոպա:
