Սեփական տարածքում քուրդ քաղաքացիներին կոտորող Թուրքիայի զարգացման նախարար Ջեւդեթ Յըլմազի գլխավորությամբ պատվիրակությունը ժամանել է իրաքյան Քուրդիստանի մայրաքաղաք Էրբիլ` քուրդ չինովնիկների հետ քննարկելու Քուրդիստանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացման ուղիները:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով քրդական աղբյուրները, թուրք նախարարն արդեն հանդիպել է Քուրդիստանի նախագահ Մասուդ Բարզանիի եւ վարչապետ Նեչիրվան Բարզանիի հետ, որպեսզի դարձյալ հայտարարի Էրբիլին իր երկրի աջակցության մասին, որը բախվել է ֆինանսների եւ անվտանգության ոլորտում ճգնաժամի հետ:

Բարզանիի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Յըլմազը հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան պաշտպանում է Քուրդիստանի կայունությունը եւ զարգացումը, քանի որ «դա կարող է դրականորեն ազդել Թուրքիայի վրա»:

«Անկարան պատրաստ է Թուրքիայի եւ Քուրդիստանի միջեւ տնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացման ուղով կապերի հետագա ամրապնդմանը», -ասել է թուրք չինովնիկը:

Նեչիրվան Բարզանիի հետ առանձին հանդիպման ժամանակ Յըլմազը հաստատել է, որ իր երկիրը պատրաստ է օգնել Քուրդիստանին դիմակայել ֆինանսական ճգնաժամին եւ ժողովրդի բարեկեցության լավացմանը:

Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերը Քուրդիստանի աշխատավորական կուսակցության» (ՔԱԿ) ազատամարտիկների դեմ ռազմական գործողությունների պատրվակով ամեն օր հարձակումներ են իրականացնում քրդաբնակ շրջաններում, ինչից հիմնականում տուժում է խաղաղ բնակչությունը: 1980-ականներին ՔԱԿ-ի սկսած ազատագրական պայքարում մինչ այժմ Թուրքիայում 50 հազարից ավելի մարդ է սպանվել:
