Միացյալ Նահանգները կօգնի ղարաբաղյան գոտում զինադադար պահպանել

Միացյալ Նահանգները հետաքրքրված է ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության շրջանում խաղաղության պահպանման մեջ եւ պատրաստ է աջակցել՝ համապատասխան կանխարգելման մեխանիզմների ներդրմամբ: Հայաստանի պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Դավիթ Տոնոյանը Վաշինգտոնում կայացած հանդիպումներից հետո «Ամերիկայի ձայնին» պատմել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների պաշտպանական եւ արտաքին քաղաքականության գերատեսչություններում անցած հանդիպումների ընթացքում քննարկվել են ղարաբաղյան հակամարտության գոտում զինադադարի պահպանման միջոցների ուժեղացումը. «Բանակցությունների ընթացքում՝ թե՛ Պենտագոնում եւ թե՛ Պետքարտուղարությունում կա համատեղ կարծիք, որ անհրաժեշտ է ուժեղացնել բոլոր միջոցները, որոնք կարող են լինել կանխարգելիչ' իրավիճակի ռազմական ուղով տանելու տեսանկյունից»:
Կանխարգելման հնարավոր միջոցների թվում Դավիթ Տոնոյանը նշել է միջազգային դիտորդներին սահմանային միջադեպերի հետաքննություն իրականացնելու մանդատի շնորհումը, ինչը թույլ կտա կանխել զինադադարի խախտումները, պատժել մեղավորներին եւ միգուցե նաեւ կողմերի միջեւ վստահության մթնոլորտ ձեւավորել: Մեկ այլ մեխանիզմ է հանդիսանում զորքերի շփման գծում միջազգային դիտորդների հովանու տակ հսկող եւ դետեկտորային համակարգերի տեղադրումը, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա հասցեագրել զինադադարի յուրաքանչյուր դեպք: «Դա շատ լուրջ կանխարգելիչ միջոց է, շատ լուրջ, ինչ-որ մի բան անելուց առաջ կմտածեն, անեն թե՝ չանեն»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ' նշել է Տոնոյանը:
Անդրադառնալով Վաշինգտոնում քննարկվող մյուս հարցերին, փոխնախարարը նշեց, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ Հայաստանը համագործակցելու է պաշտպանության ոլորտի բարեփոխումներ իրականացնելու եւ հայ խաղաղարարների աշխատանքն ապահովելու ոլորտներում: Ներկայում հայ զինվորները խաղաղություն են պահպանում Աֆղանստանում, Կոսովոյում եւ Լիբանանում, իսկ շուտով կարող են մեկնել նաեւ Մալի: «Ե′վ Պետքարտուղարությունում, ե′ւ Պենտագոնում շատ բարձր են գնահատում մեր խաղաղապահների որակները», - ընդգծել է փոխնա խարարը:
Հայաստանը նաեւ է հայտնել է ՄԱԿ-ի հովանու ներքո խաղաղապահ գործողություններ իրականացնող մասնագիտացված ուժեր տրամադրելու մասին պատրաստակամություն:
«Դա մեր տեղակայելի դաշտային հոսպիտալն է իր անձնակազմով, դա ինժեներական կարողություններն են, ականազերծողներն են»: Անդրադառնալով հայ-ամերիկյան համագործակցությանը ռազմական ոլորտում եւ հայ-ռուսական սերտ հարաբերություններին' պաշտպանության փոխնախարարն ընդգծել է, որ այդ հարցում որեւէ հակասություն չկա, եւ որ Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի անվտանգության բաղադրամասերից մեկն է.
«Ամերիկայի հետ համագործակցությունը փոխլրացնում է հայ-ռուսական համագործակցությունը ի շահ Հայաստանի հանրապետության անվտանգության ամրապնդմանը»:
