 Աշխարհահռչակ ջազ երաժիշտ Ռիչարդ Բոնոն կրկին Հայաստանում է և անչափ ուրախ է այդ առիթով: Ջազի միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ նա երկրորդ անգամ ելույթ կունենա Երևանում ապրիլի 30-ին:

Երաժիշտը լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ խոստովանեց, որ Հայաստանում համեղ ուտելիք է կերել, գնացել է Գեղարդի վանք, հանդիպել երկրպագուներին և ուրախ ժամանակ անցկացրել նրանց հետ: Նա Հայաստանում իրեն ուսանող է զգում և ուսումնասիրում է ինչպես հայկական երաժշտությունը, այնպես էլ պատմությունը: «Հայոց պատմությունը սովորելը շատ կարևոր է,քանի որ հայկական մշակույթը և պատմությունը մեր բոլորի մի մասն է: Երբ մենք ընկալում և ընդունում ենք աշխարհում տարբեր երևույթներիտարբերությունները, դա մեզ ավելի լավ է դարձնում»,- նշեց Ռիչարդ Բոնոն: Նա ասաց, որ շատ լավ ծանոթ չէ հայկական մշակույթին, սակայն իմանալով և հաշվի առնելով այն ամենը, ինչի միջով անցել է Հայաստանը, հայ ժողովրդին համարում է շատ քաջ, առաջին հերթին՝ հոգեպես: Դա արտացոլված է երաժշտության մեջ, որով հայ ժողովուրդը փորձում է ինքնարտահայտվել: Ժողովրդական գործիքների բազմազանո ւթյունը ջազմենին ամեն ինչ պատմում է Հայաստանի մասին: Նա Հայաստանում ստեղծագործելու համար ներշնչանքի աղբյուր է համարում հենց ազգային գործիքների հնչողությունը: Այսօր նա սովորելու է նվագել դուդուկ և որոշել է իր հաջորդ ալբոմում պարտադիր ընդգրկել այդ գործիքը:

«Արմենպրես»-ի այն հարցին, թե ինչին ամենաշատը կկարոտի Հայաստանից հեռանալուց հետո, երաժիշտը պատասխանեց, որ դա կլինի վանքի արձագանքը, երբինքն այնտեղ երգում էր: «Դա, երևի, այն տեղն է, որտեղ ես կուզեի անցկացնել ամբողջ կյանքս»,- ավելացրեց նա:

Ռիչարդ Բոնոն տիրապետում է 9 լեզվի և այժմ սովորում է հայերեն: Լեզուների նկատմամբ իր ընդունակությունները համարում է ի ծնե տրված,որովհետև լեզուն նման է երաժշտության. այն պետք է լսել ու կրկնել: Նա նաև կարծում է, որ չկա առավել կամ պակաս երաժշտակա ն լեզու.երաժշտությունն ինքնին լեզու է, որ կարող է գոյատևել ինքնուրույն, առանց բառերի:
