Հիվանդությունները և քրտնարտադրությունը
Գիշերային չափից շատ քրտնարտադրությունը կարող է վկայել «հիպերհիդրոզ» կոչվող հիվանդության մասին: Այս հիվանդությունը բնորոշվում է նրանով, որ օրգանիզմը քրոնիկ կերպով արտադրում է չափից շատ քրտինք:
Գիշերային քրտնարտադրությունը կարող է նաև լինել քաղցկեղի՝ ավելի հաճախ լիմֆոմայի վաղ ախտանիշներից: Պետք է անցնել բժշկական հետազոտություն,եթե գիշերային քրտնարտադրության հետ մեկտեղ դուք ունեք նաև այնպիսի ախտանիշներ, ինչպիսիք են քաշի կտրուկ անկումն ու տենդը:
Բժիշկները հաճախ կապում են գիշերային քրտնարտադրությունը և որոշ վարակիչ հիվանդություններ, օրինակ տուբերկուլյոզը կամ այնպիսի մանրէային վարակներ, ինչպիսիք են էնդոկարդիտը (սրտի փականների բորբոքում), օստեոմելիտը (ոսկրային հյուսվածքի բորբոքում) և աբսցեսները: Գիշերային քրտնարտադրությունը հաճախ համարվում է նաև ՁԻԱՀ-ի ախտանիշ (կամ ՄԻԱՎ վարակ):

Քրտնարտադրությունը կարող է լինել հորմոնային ֆոնի փոփոխության նշաններից մեկը, ինչը հաճախ հանդիպում է կանանց մոտ հատկապես դաշտանադադարի ժամանակաշրջանում:
Գիշերային քրտնարտադրությունը կարող է նաև առաջանալ հիպոգլիկեմիայի պատճառով (օրգանիզմի պաթոլոգիական վիճակ), որի ժամանակ արյան մեջ գրանցվում է շաքարի ցածր մակարդակ, ինչն ուղեկցվում է քրտնարտադրությամբ:
