Հակառակորդի նախահարձակ գործողությունները չեզոքացնելու նպատակով առաջապահ ստորաբաժանումները դիմել են կանխարգելիչ և օպերատիվ իրադրության զարգացմանը համահունչ գործողությունների. վերջին օրերին այս հայտարարությունը լրահոսում հաճախ ենք կարդում։ Սակայն թե այս մեկ նախադասության տակ որքան ջանք, որքան զենք, հրամանատարական կազմ ու զինվորներ կան, խորությամբ չենք հասկանում։ Այն մարդիկ, որոնք այսօր խոսում են հայոց բանակի զենքերի, գործողությունների մասին, շատ հաճախ ինֆորմացիա էլ չունեն, թե իրականում ինչով և ինչպես են իրականացվում նման գործողությունները։ 
Այն տպավորությունն է, թե վերջին օրերի հաղթանակների մեջ կարծես թե անտեսված են սպայական կազմը, բանակի հրամանատարությունն ու զինված ուժերի հնարավորությունները։ Սակայն քիչ թե շատ ինֆորմացիա ստացող մարդը շատ լավ հասկանում է, որ 21-րդ դարում զսպում կարող է իրականացնել բացառապես կանոնավոր բանակը՝ իր բոլոր ստորասաժանումների, ղեկավարների համաձայնեցված աշխատանքով։ Բանակ ասելով՝ մենք հասկանում ենք և՜ շարքային զինծառայողներին, և՜ սպայական կազմին ու հրամանատարությանը։ Ու պատահական չէ, որ այս պատերազմում զոհվածների մեջ ժամկետային զինծառայողների կողքին մեծ թիվ են կազմել նաև սպայական կազմի ներկայացուցիչները։ 
Պատերազմները հաղթում են կանոնավոր բանակները։ Մեր բանակը մի ամբողջություն է՝ իր զինվորով, հրամանատարով հանդերձ։
Իսկ ուղղորդված քննադատներին, ովքեր ինչ-ինչ պրոցեսների մեջ են, միայն մեկ խորհուրդ կարող եմ տալ՝ ուրիշ ասպարեզ փնտրեք ձեր գիտելիքների օգտագործման համար, բանակից հեռու մնացեք։ Մեր բանակն իր մարտունակությունն ապացուցել է։
