 Հայաստանի Հանրապետության բարեփոխված Սահմանադրությունից բխող ընտրական օրենսգիրքը բարձրացնելու է հանրության վստահությունը ընտրական գործընթացների նկատմամբ: Ազգային ժողովում Ընտրական օրենսգրքի քննարկման ժամանակ այս մասին ասաց ԱԺ ՀՅԴխմբակցության քարտուղար Աղվան Վարդանյանը: «Սակայն սա ամենակարևորը չէ: Ամենավատ օրենքով կարելի է անցկացնել լավագույն ընտրությունները, իսկ ամենալավ օրենքով՝ վատագույն: Շատ կարևոր է վարչական ռեսուրսի օգտագործման և ընտրակաշառքի դեմ պայքարը, ինչի դեպքում միայն հնարավոր կլինի ունենալ արդար և թափանցիկ ընտրությունները»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Վարդանյանը:

Վարդանյանը հավելեց, որ մինչ այս պահը որևէ մեկն ընտրակաշառքի դեմ պայքարի արդյունավետ մեթոդ չի առաջարկել: «Որևէ օրենք չի բացառում կոռուպցիան և ընտրակաշառքը: Այստեղ այլ լուծում է պետք: Այսօր ես առաջարկում եմ. 2017թ. խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից առաջ մասնակից  բոլոր քաղաքական ուժերը ստորագրում են ջենտլմենական համաձայնագիր, որ ոչ իրենք, ոչ իրենց տարածքային թեկնածուները ընտրակաշառք չեն բաժանելու, նաև վերահսկման մեխանիզմներ են սահմանվում: Կարծում եմ՝ սա կլինի պատասխանատու, համարժեք դիրքորոշում երկրի դեմ ծառացած մարտահրավերներին&ra quo;,- ընդգծեց Աղվան Վարդանյանը:

Պատգամավորի խոսքով՝ դա կլինի երկրում արմատական բարեփոխումներ իրականացնելու, նոր որակի իշխանություն ձևավորելու նախապայման: «Անկախության սերնդի, այսօր մեր սահմանները պաշտպանող սերնդի առաջ մենք պարտք ունենք՝ թույլ տալ, որ նրանք արդար ընտրությունների միջոցով կառուցեն ուժեղ, արդար և բարեկեցիկ Հայաստան»,- եզրափակեց Աղվան Վարդանյանը:
