«Ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «2014 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 9-ին Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Սեւան քաղաքի ավագ դպրոցում աչքը կորցրած 8-րդ դասարանի աշակերտ Մեսրոպ Խաչատրյանի ուսուցչուհին Սեւանի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի որոշմամբ դատապարտվեց անզգուշության համար՝ 200 հազար դրամ տուգանքով:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Մեսրոպը դեպքից հետո հայտարարել է, որ աչքը վնասել է ուսուցիչը՝ կախիչով: «Ես լսեցի, ինքը ոնց ա ասում՝ հեսա խփում եմ մտնել պատի մեջ: Շորերի արանքից ես նկատեցի, որ ինքը եկավ հասավ մեր վրա: Ես պատկերացրի, որ հեսա թեւիցս կքաշի կհանի դուրս, ես էն մի կողմում փախնեմ: Էդ պահին կախիչը սուր կողմով մտավ աչքս: Ես տեսա, որ ինքը ձեռքով հրեց վրաս»,-դեպքից հետո «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանին պատմել էր Մեսրոպը:
Երեխայի մայրը՝ Էլմիրա Գեւորգյանը, խիստ անարդար էթ համարում դատավճիռը: «Դատավճիռը ծաղր էր: Երեխայի աչքը հանելուց հետո ուսուցչուհին հանգիստ խղճով 200 հազար դրամ տուգանքը վճարի: Դատավճիռը շատ անարդար էր, իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է ուսուցչուհուն, ինքը մի անգամ նույնիսկ չի եկել ներողություն խնդրի ու կամ կարեկցանք հայտնի: Ընդհակառակը՝ ուսուցչուհու ամուսինը գործով դատախազի հետ շատ մոտ է, նախկին ոստիկան է, եւ իրենք հայտարարում էին, թե մեզ ոչ մի բան չեն կարա անեն»:
Դպրոցում աչքը կորցրած երեխայի ծնողները չեն պատրաստվում հաշտվել դատավճռի հետ եւ բողոքելու են մինչեւ Եվրադատարան:
Ըստ երեխայի մոր՝ նաեւ դպրոցը, տնօրինությունն ու ուսուցիչներն են մեղավոր, որ նման անարդար վճիռ եղավ: «Երեխաները սկզբում ցուցմունքները ճիշտ էին տվել, հետո ինչ-որ ժողովի պատճառով, թե իրենք բարիշելու են, իրանք իրար հետ պայմանավորվելու են, ձեր ի՞նչ գործն է, գնացեք ձեր ցուցմունքները փոխեք, ասեք՝ մենք չենք տեսել, մենք չենք լսել ու եկել փոխել են, տենց էլ գործը գնացել է դատարան: Ծնողները հետ քաշվեցին, ուսուցիչների սուտ ցուցմունքների արդյունքում ստացվեց, իբր անզգուշություն է եղել, բայց դա անզգուշություն չի եղել: Եթե մարդը մտածեր, որ նույնը կարար աներ իր երեխու հետ ու էսպես անպատիժ մնար՝ 200 հազար դրամ տալով, կարծում եմ՝ նման բան չէին անի:
Ուսուցիչուհի Հասմիկ Մարգարյանը մեկ տաւոց ավելի է՝ չի աշխատում դպրոցում: Աչքը վնասած Մեսրոպը նորից նույն դպրոցն է հաճախում եւ նույն դասարանում սովորում: Սեւան քաղաքում այլ ավագ դպրոց չկա»:
