Ստրասբուրգի Հանրապետության հրապարակի «Մեր Զոհերը» հուշարձանի մոտ ապրիլի 24-ին կայացել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության 101-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառում։ Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Արարողությանը ներկա էին Եվրոպայի Խորհրդում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Արմեն Պապիկյանը, Ստրասբուրգի փոխքաղաքապետը, էլզասի շրջանային խորհրդի անդամները, հասարակական կազմակերպությունների, Ստրասբուրգում գործող տարբեր եկեղեցիների, ինչպես նաև հայ համայնքի բազմաթիվ ներկայացուցիչներ, որոնք իրենց հարգանքի տուրքը մատուցեցին Ցեղասպանության անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակին:

Արմեն Պապիկյանն իր խոսքում, մասնավորապես, հիշատակեց 2015թ. Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման խորհուրդը, որը նոր ազդակ հաղորդեց հայ ժողովրդի` Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման, պատմական արդարության վերականգնման և ընդդեմ ժխտողականության 100-ամյա պայքարին` ընդգծելով, որ 21-րդ դարում Հայաստանն ամրագրել է իր ուրույն տեղն ու դերը Ցեղասպանության և մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունների դեմ միջազգային պայքարում: ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչն անդրադարձավ նաև ընթացիկ տարվա ապրիլի սկզբին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ռազմական ա գրեսիային` այդ համատեքստում ներկաների ուշադրությունը հրավիրելով այն փաստի վրա, որ 1915թ. հայ ժողովրդի հանդեպ Օսմանյան կայսրության եղեռնագործությունները մեկ առ մեկ կրկնվում են Միջին Արևելքում ահաբեկչական ավազակախմբերի և մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ ադրբեջանական բանակի` Արցախի ժողովրդի և զինվորների նկատմամբ իրականացրած սոսկալի վայրագություններում: Արմեն Պապիկյանը խորին ափսոսանք հայտնեց, որ միջազգային հանրությունը լիովին չի գիտակցում Թուրքիա-Ադրբեջան տանդեմի հարուցած համընդհանուր վտանգի ողջ լրջությունը` հաշվի առնելով այդ երկրներում պետական ամենաբարձր ատյանների կողմից խրախուսվող հակահայկական, ժխտողական քաղաքականությունը և օրեցօր այդ երկրներում ահագնացող մարդու իրավունքների, խոսքի ազատության, ժողովրդավարության և համաեվրոպական արժեքների ոտնահարումը:

Ելույթներով միջոցառման մասնակիցներին դիմեցին «Էլզաս-Հայաստան բարեկամություն» բարեգործական ընկերության նախագահ Պիեռ Զուլումյանը, Ստրասբուրգի փոխքաղաքապետը, Էլզասի շրջանային խորհրդի անդամները, հրեական և ռուանդայական կառույցների ներկայացուցիչները:

Ստրասբուրգի փոխքաղաքապետ Նավել Ռաֆիկ-Էլմրինին, իր խոսքում վերահաստատելով Հայաստանի և հայ ժողովրդի հանդեպ անվերապահ բարեկամությունը, մասնավորապես, նշեց Թուրքիայի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության հերքման անընդունելիության մասին, քանի որ ժխտողականությունը ցավալիորեն խաթարում է հաշտեցման հնարավորությունը և սնում աշխարհի տարբեր անկյուններում մարդկության դեմ նոր ոճիրներ»:
