 Ֆրանսիայի Եվրոպական հարցերիպետքարտուղար  Հառլեմ Դեզիրը Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիրում հարգանքի տուրք մատուցեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակին:

Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, Հառլեմ Դեզիրը ծաղիկներ դրեց Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող անմար կրակի մոտ, որից հետո պատասխանեց լրագրողների հարցերին:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ իր համար այս օրը շատ կարևոր է ու հիշարժան: «Ֆրանսիայի Հանրապետության նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդի կողմից ինձ հանձմնարարված էր այսօր գալ, բարձրանալ Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր և իմ բաժին մեխակները դնել Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի անմար շիրիմին… Փարիզում Կոմիտասի հուշարձանի հարևանությամբ  ֆրանսահայերի հետ մասնակցել եմ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 101-րդ տարելիցի ոգեկոչման արարողությանը»,- ընդգծեց պետքարտուղարը:

Նա հավելեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը, որը 20-րդ դարի առաջին ցեղասպանությունն էր երբեք չպետք է մոռացվի աշխարհի ոչ մի հատվածում: «Արդեն 15 տարի է, ինչ Ֆրանսիան խորհրդարանի ստորին և վերին պալատների միահամուռ որոշմամբ ճանաչել է Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Հիմա մենք պետք է մարտնչենք, պայքարենք, որպեսզի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ընդունվի ողջ մարդկության կողմից: Հնարավոր չէ հավուր պատշաճի կերտել ապագան՝ առանց հստակ գնահատական տալու այդ ցավալի իրադարձություններին: Մենք պետք է ջանքեր գործադրենք, որպեսզի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչվի համայն մարդկության կողմից՝ որպես տեղի ունեցած իրողություն»,- եզրափակեց Հառլեմ Դեզիրը:
