Թուրքիան 101 տարի առաջ հայ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ իրականացրած ցեղասպանությունն այսօր կատարում է քուրդ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ: Հայոց ցեղասպանության հուշահամալիրում «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում այս մասին նշեց Հայաստանի քրդական համայնքի ղեկավար Կնյազ Հասանովը:
«Այսօր Թուրքիան փորձում է ոչնչացնել քուրդ ժողովրդին, կոտորում է կանանց, երեխաներին և ծերերին, ռմբակոծում է բոլոր քաղաքները, որոնք քրդաբնակ են: Եվ մենք եկել ենք այն եզրակացության, որ միջազգային հանրությունն այս ամենի նկատմամբ իր ձայնը բարձրացնում է այնքանով, որքանով դա օգտավետ է իրենց նավթային շահերի համար»,- նշեց նա:
Կնյազ Հասանովը վստահ է, որ ներկայումս Թուրքիայի ցեղասպան քաղաքականությունը Հայոց ցեղասպանության անպատժելիության հետևանք է:
«Մենք կոչ ենք անում միջազգային հանրությանը, որպեսզի բռնեն այդ մարդասպան, ցեղասպան կառավարության ձեռքը»,-հավելեց նա: Կնյազ Հասանովը կարծում է, որ Թուրքիան ներկա պահին աջակցում է տարբեր ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների, որոնք վայրագություններ են իրականացնում Սիրիայում և Իրաքում նաև քուրդ ժողովրդի նկատմամբ:
Ապրիլի 24-ին հիշատակի արարողություններ են տեղի ունենում Հայաստանի բոլոր շրջաններում, աշխարհի տարբեր երկրների հայկական համայնքներում:Բողոքի կոչ է բարձրացվում Թուրքիայի մերժողական քաղաքականության դեմ եւ ուղերձ հղվում միջազգային հանրությանը` ճանաչելու 20-րդ դարասկզբիմեծագույն ոճրագործությունը ` դրանով թույլ չտալով ցեղասպանությունների կրկնություն: Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու բոլոր թեմերում մատուցվում էհոգեհանգստյան պատարագ: 1915թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում հայ բնակչության մասայական կոտորածները որպես նախապես ծրագրավորված ուամբողջությամբ իրագործված ցեղասպանական ակտ որակող փաստաթղթերի ամբողջական շարքը հսկայական է: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունն ընդունել ենայնպիսի կազմակերպություններ, ինչպիսիք են Եվրոպայի Խորհուրդը, Եվրախորհրդարանը, ՄԱԿ-ի մի քանի հանձնաժողովներ, Եկեղեցիների համաշխարհայինմիությունը, ՄԵՐԿՈՍՈւՐ-ի խորհրդարանը եւ այլն: Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչել են շատ պ ետություններ. առաջինը պաշտոնապես ընդունել էՈւրուգվայը 1965 թ-ին: Հայ ժողովրդի կոտորածը պաշտոնապես քննադատել եւ ճանաչել են որպես ցեղասպանություն` ըստ միջազգային իրավունքի, հետեւյալերկրները` Ֆրանսիա, Իտալիա, Բելգիա, Նիդեռլանդներ, Շվեյցարիա, Շվեդիա, Ռուսաստան, Լեհաստան, Լիտվա, Հունաստան, Սլ ովակիա, Կիպրոս, Լիբանան,Ուրուգվայ, Արգենտինա (2 օրենք, 5 բանաձեւ), Վենեսուելա, Չիլի, Կանադա, Վատիկան, Ավստրալիա, Ավստրիա, Լյուքսեմբուրգ, նաև ԱՄՆ 44 նահանգներ:
