Ղրղզստանում ընձուղտների քարացած մնացորդներ են հայտնաբերվել

Ղրղզստանի Նարինյան շրջանի Քոչքոր տարածքում վեց միլիոն տարվա հնության էկզոտիկ կենդանիների քարացած մնացորդներ են հայտնաբերվել, հայտնել է ամերիկուհի գիտնական Ուին Մաքլաֆլինը։
Նա նշել է, որ հետազոտությունները կազմակերպվել էին Սեյսմոլոգիայի ինստիտուտի տնօրեն, երկրաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր Կանատբեկ Աբդրախմատովի ղեկավարությամբ։ Նրա խոսքով՝ երկրաբաններն առաջ էլ էին Քոչքորի տարածքում հայտնաբերել ռնգեղջյուրների ու թռչունների մնացորդներ, բայց ընձուղտի ու մկների ոսկորներ առաջին անգամ են հայտնաբերում։
«Հայտնաբերված քարացած մնացորդները վկայում են այն մասին, որ 6 միլիոն տարի առաջ ապրող ընձուղտները կրկնակի փոքր են եղել ժամանակակից ընձուղտներից»,- հինգշաբթի օրը «Սպուտնիկ» գործակալությունը մեջբերել է Աբդրախմատովի խոսքերը, հայտնում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստին»։
Աբդրախմատովը հավելել է, որ դրանք շատ կարեւոր գտածոներ են սեյսմոլոգների համար։ Դրանք կօգնեն հասկանալ, թե երբ են սկսվել երկրակեղեւի շարժումները, որոնք թե այն ժամանակ, թե հիմա երկրաշարժերի պատճառ են դարձել։ Նաեւ կպարզվի, թե երբ է սկսվել լեռների գոյացման գործընթացը։
Մաքլաֆլինը նաեւ հայտնել է, որ մնացորդները կուղարկվեն Ամերիկա՝ լիարժեք հետազոտման համար, որից հետո դրանք կվերադարձվեն Ղրղզստան։
