Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման և դատապարտման հետևողական աշխատանքները չեն դադարում ոչ Ցեղասպանության տարելիցներից առաջ, ոչ դրանց ընթացքում, և ոչ էլ դրանցից հետո: Այս մասին «Ընդդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումի ընթացքում ասաց ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը: «Դրա մասին է վկայում այն հանգամանքը, որ մենք անցկացնում են «Ըն դդեմ ցեղասպանության հանցագործության» երկրորդ գլոբալ ֆորումը: Այս ֆորումը վերածվում է ցեղասպանությունների կանխարգելմանն ուղղված պայքարի կարևոր ձևաչափի: Մենք հիմա կարող ենք արձանագրել, որ հայ ժողովրդի հավաքական և միահամուռ ջանքերի, ինչպես նաև միջազգային հանրության աջակցությամբ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը համաշխարհային ճանաչում է ստացել»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Նալբանդյանը:
Նախարարը ֆորումի մասնակիցներին հիշեցրեց ֆորումի բացման ելույթում ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի այն միտքը, որ աշխարհի որևէ անկյունում իրականացված ցեղասպանություն պետք է դիտարկվի միջազգային հանրության ձախողման հետևանք, իսկ դրանց կանխարգելումը՝ ողջ մարդկության պատասխանատվություն:
Նալբանդյանը հավելեց, որ ֆորումի հիմնական թեմա հանդիսացող փախստականների և վերապրածների վերաբերյալ քննարկումները ոչ միայն արդիական են, այլ նաև հատուկ հնչեղություն են ստացել: Նրա խոսքով՝ արծարծված հարցերի լայն շրջանակ պարունակող նիստերը վեր հանեցին հաճախ ստվերում մնացող հարցեր;
Նախարարը նշեց, որ շատ դեպքերում ցեղասպանություն վերապրածների նկատմամբ հանցագործությունները շարունակվում են բուն ցեղասպան գործողություններին հաջորդող տարիների ընթացքում: «Խոսքս այն մասին է, երբ փորձ է արվում թաքցնել և ժխտել իրականացված հանցագործությունը: Քանի դեռ չկա ճանաչումը, վերապրածները և նրանց ժառանգները շարունակում են մնալ հանցագործության զոհի կարգավիճակում»,- ընդգծեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:
Նա նկատեց, որ Հայոց ցեղասպանությունից անցել է 101 տարի, որոնք հայ ժողովրդի կորստյան, դիմադրության և վերածննդի տարիներ էին, ինչպես նաև շարունակվող ժխտողականության տարիներ: «1.5 միլիոն գումարած մեկ: Սա այն կարգախոսն էր, որով տասնյակ հազարավոր մարդիկ դուրս եկան փողոց իրենց բողոքն արտահայտելու ատելության մթնոլորտին զոհ դարձած Հրանտ Դինքի մահվան դեմ: Թուրքական հասարակության մի ստվար զանգված իր ձայնը բարձրացրեց՝ փորձելով քանդել ատելության և ժխտողականության շղթաները, որոնցով տարիներ շարունակ ոտնահարվել էր թուրք ժողովրդի՝ ճշմարտութունն իմանալու իրավունքը: Սակայն Թուրքիայի ղեկավարության դիրքորոշումը շարունակում է տրամագծորեն տարբերվել Թուրքիայի առաջադեմ հասարակության պատկերացումներից»,- հավելեց ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարը:
