ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Երևանի քննչական վարչության Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանի քննչական բաժնում քննվող քրեական գործով ձեռնարկված քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում պարզվել են Հովհաննես Մխիթարյանի և նրա կնոջ՝ Լուսինե Մխիթարյանի սպանության մի շարք հանգամանքներ, առերևույթ հանցագործություն կատարած անձի ինքնությունը, շարժառիթը։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից, նախաքննությամբ պարզվել է, որ առերևույթ հանցագործություն կատարած անձը, կենցաղային հարցերի շուրջ վիճաբանության ժամանակ, հրազենից կրակոցներ է արձակել Հովհաննես Մխիթարյանի և վերջինիս կնոջ՝ Լուսինե Մխիթարյանի ուղղությամբ, ինչի արդյունքում հուլիսի 29-ին՝ ժամը 18:55-ին, նրանք մահացել են:

Ըստ նախնական քննության արդյունքների, ամուսինների վրա հրազենից կրակոցներ է արձակել Վրաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացի, ազգությամբ հայ, 44-ամյա Տիգրան Մանուկյանը, ով  փաստացի բնակվում է Երևան քաղաքի Կ.Ուլնեցու 30 շենքի  2-րդ մուտքի նկուղում, որտեղ էլ վերջինս, ձեռնարկված օպերատիվ-քննչական գործողությունների արդյունքում, հայտնաբերվել է՝ գլխի շրջանում հրազենային վնասվածքով, և տեղափոխվել բժշկական կենտրոն:

Նախնական տվյալների համաձայն, Տ. Մանուկյանն ինքն իրեն է պատճառել հրազենային վնասվածք. ըստ նախանական քննության տվյալների՝ Մխիթարյանները սպանվել են նույն զենքով:

Նկուղի զննությամբ հայտնաբերվել և առգրավվել է ատրճանակ, 1 հատ փամփուշտ և փամփշտատուփ: Համաձայն բժիշկի կողմից տրված տեղեկանքի՝ Տ. Մանուկյանն ի վիճակի չէ ցուցմունքներ տալ:

Նշանակվել են դատաբժշկական, դատաձգաբանական, դատահետքաբանական, դատակենսաբանական փորձաքննություններ: Միջնորդություն է ներկայացվել Արաբկիր և Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանների ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարան՝ Տ. Մանուկյանի բնակության վայրում խուզարկություն կատարելու թույլտվություն ստանալու համար, որը բավարարվել է: Հարցաքննվել են մի շարք վկաներ:

Դեպքի առթիվ ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Երևան քաղաքի քննչական վարչության Քանաքեռ-Զեյթուն վարչական շրջանների քննչական բաժնում հարուցվել է քրեական գործ՝ ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 104-րդ հոդվածի 2-րդ մասի 1-ին և 6-րդ կետերով (երկու կամ ավելի անձանց սպանությունը, որը կատարվել է շատերի կյանքի համար վտանգավոր եղանակով) և 235-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասով (ապօրինի կերպով զենք, ռազմամթերք, պայթուցիկ նյութեր կամ պայթուցիկ սարքեր ձեռք բերելը, իրացնելը, պահելը, փոխադրելը կամ կրելը):

Նախաքննությունը շարունակվում է: Միջոցներ են ձեռնարկվում դեպքի բազմակողմանի և լրիվ հետազոտումն ապահովելու ուղղությամբ:
