Հովհաննես Դավթյանը Եվրոպայի ձյուդոյի առաջնությունում առաջին մեդալն է պարգևել Հայաստանին

 Ռուսաստանի Կազան քաղաքում մեկնարկած Եվրոպայի ձյուդոյի առաջնության մրցումային առաջին օրը մրցահարթակ էին դուրս եկել նաև Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչները: «Արմենպրես»-ը հայտնում է, որ մրցագործում իրենց փորձել են լավագույն կողմերով դրսևորել 60 կգ քաշային ձյուդոյիստներ Հովհաննես Դավթյանը և Գարիկ Հարությունյանը, 66 կգ քաշային Ֆերդինանտ Կարապետյանը և 52 կգ քաշային Ժաննա Ստանկևիչը:

Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչներից լավագույն արդյունքն առաջին խաղային օրը ցույց է տվել 60 կգ քաշային Հովհաննես Դավթյանը, ով իր մեկնարկային գոտեմարտում հաղթել է նախ ավստրիացի ձյուդոյիստին, ապա առավելության է հասել Չեխիայի ներկայացուցիչ Պավել Պետրիկովի նկատմամբ: Հաջող երկու գոտեմարտերին հաջորդել է քառորդ եզրափակիչում պարտություն իտալացի Էլիոս Մանզիի դեմ: Սփոփիչ գոտեմարտում հայ ձյուդոյիստը, հաղթելով հոլանդացի Ժերոեն Մուրենին, հնարավորություն ստացավ մասնակցելու բրոնզե մեդալի համար պայքարին: Այդ գոտեմարտում Դավթյանի մրցակիցը թուրք Բեքիր Օսլուին էր, ով չկարողացավ դիմակայել հայ ձյուդոյիստին և պարտություն կրեց: Դավթյանը դարձավ Եվրոպայի առաջնության բրոնզե մեդալակիր:

60 կգ քաշային կարգում հանդես եկող մյուս հայ ձյուդոյիստը՝ Գարիկ Հարությունյանը, մեկնարկային գոտեմարտում չկարողացավ հաղթահարել հենց թուրք Բեքիր Օսլուին, այնպես որ Դավթյանի տոնած հաղթանակը յուրատեսակ ապտակ էր Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցչի համար:

66 կգ քաշային Ֆերդինանտ Կարապետյանը մեկնարկային գոտեմարտում, չնայած պարտության մատնեց ադրբեջանցի Թարլան Քարիմովին, հաջորդ իսկ գոտեմարտում զիջեց բելառուս ձյուդոյիստ Դմիտրի Շերշանին՝ դուրս մնալով մրցաշարից:

52 կգ քաշային Ժաննա Ստանկևիչը էլ ցավալիորեն պարտվեց իր առաջին գոտեմարտում:

Ապրիլի 22-ին Կազանում մրցագորգ դուրս կգան Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչներ Արսեն Ղազարյանը (73 կգ) և Անդրանիկ Չափարյանը, Ռաֆայել Դավթյանը (81 կգ):
