Գրիգոր Բարսեղյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Երկրապահներին դիրքերից պետք է օր առաջ հետ վերադարձնել, քանի չեն հարամել ամեն ինչ։ Ես սկզբունքորեն չեմ քննադատի ու վիրավորական բաներ գրի գեներալ Մանվելի մասին, որովհետև անկախ ամեն ինչից, նրա արարքը գովելի էր։ Մարդը պարզապես վեր կացավ, 1000-ից ավելի երկրապահ հավաքեց ու մեկնեց առաջնագիծ։ Զուտ ռազմական տեսանկյունից, դա ոչ մի եղանակ չէր փոխում ու այդ ստորաբաժանումները առանձնապես չմասնակցեցին էլ թեժ մարտերին, բայց զուտ բարոյահոգեբանական տեսանկյունից բավականին քաջալերող ազդեցություն ունեցան մեր զորքի ու հասարակության վրա, և չմոռանանք նաև այն, որ հակառակորդի այսօրվա զինվորը հիմնականում երեխա են եղել նախորդ կռվի ժամանակ ու իրենց գեներաալ Մանվելով էին վախեցնում։

Ինչևէ, այդ հոգեբանական լարված փուլն անցավ, սահմանին էլ թեժ մարտեր էլ չեն ծավալվում ու հիմա օրվա հրամայականն է հետ բերել Մանվելի զորքը, որովհետև քանի գնում է, նրանցից վնասն ավելի է շատանում, քան օգուտը։ Չեմ ուզում բոլորին մեկ արշինով չափել, բայց գնացողների մեջ շատ են նախկին ու այս կռվի ասֆալտային ֆիդայինները, քիչ է կարգապահությունը և ցածր է բարոյահոգեբանական պատկերը։ Օրինակ հայտնի է, որ արդեն բազմաթիվ բողոքներ կան այն բնակավայրերից, որոնց մոտ տեղակայել են Երկրապահներին, որ ընտանիք կենդանիների են գողանում ու ուտում։ Զորքից են հնչում բողոքներ, որ կարգապահ չեն, սպաներին չեն ենթարկվում, ամեն օր ինչ որ գինարբուքներ են անում ու հաճախ կռիվ-ղալմաղալ են անում։ Սրա մասին չի բարձրաձայնվել, բայց արդեն առնվան մեկ դեպ եղել է, երբ լակած իրար վրա զենք եեն քաշել ու մարդ է սպանվել։

Դե իսկ ամենանյարդայանացնողը՝ Մանվելի որդու ու նրա շքախմբի արկածներն են, որն անձնուրաց լուսաբանում է Շամշյանը։ Եթե չեմ սխալվում, Մանվելի որդի Կարեն Գրիգորյանն անգամ չի էլ ծառայել, բայց հիմա արդեն գումարտակի հրամանատար է ու ի՜նչ ցանցառություններ ասես, որ չի հասցրել անել։ Երկու դրվագ հիշենք․ գնացել են Ստեփանակերտի հոսպիտալ ու վիրավորներին Երկրապահի հուամեդալներ են տալիս։ Լավ են անում, իրենց գործն է, բայց ի սեր աստծո, զրահաբաճկոններով ու լիցքավորած պահունակներով հոսիտալ մտնելն ու կադրում հայտնվելու իմաստը ո՞րն է։ Հակկառակորդը Ստեփանակերտի մատույցներո՞ւմ է արդեն։

Կամ էլ մեկ այլ կարկառուն օրինակ՝ «Շամշյանի տանկը»․․․ ամպագորգոռ հայտարարեցին, որ մերոնք հակառակորդի տանկ են խփել ու Զորավարի զորավար տղեն համբուրել է խփողներին․․․ Ու ամեն ինչ կարգին կլիներ, եթե չպարզվեր, որ այդ տանկը լավագույն դեպքում դեռ պատերազմի 4 օրերին խփված տանկ էր, իսկ վատագույն դեպքում՝ մեր իսկ տանկերից է, որը ոչնչացվել էր հակառակորդի կողմից․․․

Դրա համար, ի սեր Աստծո, էդդ ֆիդայիններին հետ բերեք։ Հիմա էլ ֆիդայինի կռիվ չի։ Մարդ պետք էլինի՝ զորահավաք հայտարարեք՝ դրա մեջ ամոթ բան չկա, մարդիկ էլ պատրաստ են գնալ, թե չէ էս հայդուկներից օգուտ հիմա ընդհանրապես չկա, իսկ այ վնաս՝ ինչքան ասես։
