ՄԱԿ-ը փաստաթուղթ է ընդունել թմրանյութերի ապօրինի շրջանառության դեմ պայքարի միջոցառումների մասին

ՄԱԿ-ում փաստաթուղթ են ընդունել թմրամոլներին օգնություն ցուցաբերելու, թմրանյութերի առաջարկի եւ պահանջարկի կրճատման վերաբերյալ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է միջազգային կազմակերպության նորությունների կենտրոնը:
«ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի՝ թմրանյութերի խնդրին նվիրված 30-րդ հատուկ նստաշրջանի մասնակիցներն ընդունել են ամփոփիչ փաստաթուղթ, որում շարադրված են թմրամոլներին օգնություն ցուցաբերելու եւ թմրանյութերի առաջարկի ու պահանջարկի կրճատման վերաբերյալ»,-ասված Է հաղորդագրության մեջ:
«Փաստաթղթում չկան կոնկրետ ձեւակերպումներ, որոնք արգելում են մատապատիժը թմրանյութերի հետ կապված հանցագործությունների համար»,-հայտարարել Է ՄԱԿ-ի՝ թմրանյութերի եւ հանցավորության հարցերի վարչության գործադիր տնօրեն Յուրի Ֆեդոտովը: Նա նաեւ նշել Է, որ փաստաթուղթն ուղղված չԷ թմրակախվածություն ունեցող անձանց քրեականացմանը:
ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի առաջին տեղակալ Յան Էլիասոնը նշել Է, որ թմրամոլներին պետք Է բուժել, այլ ոչ թե բանտ նստեցնել: «Սակայն այսօրվա դրությամբ բուժվելու հնարավորություն ունի մոլորակի՝ թմրակախվածություն ունեցող միայն յուրաքանչյուր վեցերորդ բնակիչը»,-հայտնել Է նա:
ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 30-րդ հատուկ նստաշրջանն աշխատանքն սկսել Է ապրիլի 19-ին: Նրա մասնակիցներն առաջիկա երեք օրում քննարկելու են թմրանյութերի վերաբերյալ Քաղաքական հռչակագրի եւ ՄԱԿ-ի Գործողությունների ծրագրի կատարման հարցը, որոնք 2009 թվականին ընդունվել Էին 20-րդ հատուկ նստաշրջանում՝ նվիրված թմրանյութերի համաշխարհային հիմնախնդրի դեմ համատեղ պայքարին:
ՄԱԿ-ի տվյալներով՝ ներկայում աշխարհում կա ավելի քան 250 մլն թմրամոլ: Այդ թվում ներառված են նաեւ նրանք, ովքեր թեկուզ մեկ անգամ թմրանյութ են փորձել: Նրանցից թմրակախվածություն ունեցող մոտավորապես 27 մլն անձինք բուժման կարիք ունեն: Ամեն տարի գերդոզավորման եւ թմրանյութերի օգտագործման հետ կապված այլ պատճառներով մահանում Է 200 հազար մարդ, հաղորդել Է «Ինտերֆաքս»-ը:
