Ռազմական փորձագետ չեմ և ոչ էլ ստրատեգ, բայց հիմնվելով մեր ունեցած փորձի վրա, որպես ՀՀ քաղաքացի թույլ տվեք մի փոքր վերլուծություն անել և կարծիքս հայտնել: Ադրբեջանի լկտի պահվածքի անկախատեսելիության, խոսքի և պայմանավորվածություններին տեր չկանգնելու մասին ավելորդ անգամ օրինակներով չպատմեմ, բոլորիս էլ դրանկ քաջ հայտնի են: Նման սանձարձակ հակառակորդին հաջողվեց որոշ ժամանակ շղթայված կապի վրա պահել միայն ու միայն նրան իր զավթած տարածքներից զրկելով: Զգալով, որ մարդկանց վրա հաչալու և կծոտելու արդյունքում նրա վզի շղթան գնալով ավելի են կարճացնում, որպեսզի նրա փսլնքոտ երախը չհասնի կողքը ապրող մարդկանց: Ես համոզված եմ, որ երբ Ադրբեջանը Թուրքիայի կամ մեկ այլ «թուրքի» օգնությամբ կապը կտրեց և կրկին հարձակվեց մարդկանց վրա նրան պետք էր նույն պատիժը տալ: Ես չգիտեմ ռազմականորեն դա հնարավոր էր թե ոչ, բայց Արցախ մեկնելու ողջ ճանապարհին ես մտածում էի, որ «ու՜խ, հիմա Գյուլիստանն ու Շահումյանի մյուս գյուղերը վերադարձնելու շանս ունենք...» Հետո երբ հասա տեղ ու իմացա, որ այնտեղ հարձակումներ չկան ավելի մեծացավ ցանկությունս, որ մտնենք Գյուլիստան: Այսինքն, հակառակորդը որտեղ որ ռազմական գործողուտյուններ չէր ծավալել, ես կարծում էի, որ մենք պետք է ծավալեինք և անպայման նրանցից տարածքներ ազատագրեինք: Պատկերացրեք, որ ասենք նրանց վերցրած բլրակի դիմաց մենք Գյուլիստանը վերցրած լինեինք: Ադրբեջանը երկրորդ անգամ նույն դասը ստանալով կարծում եմ այս անգամ վերջնական կհասկանար, որ ցանկացած ոտնձգության արդյունքում նրանք տարածք են կորցնում, կլինի դա փոքր թե երկարատև ոտնձգություն: Ես կարծում եմ, որ միայն նոր տարածքներ կորցնելու վախը կարող է վերջնական լուծել այս խնդիրը: Այսինքն ես մնում եմ «ամենալավ պաշտպանությունը հարձակումն է» սկզբունքին, և հույս ունեմ, որ հաջորդ անգամ նրանք փորձեն հարավում գործողություն անել մենք պետք է անմիջապես հյուսիս, հարավ, արևելք, արևմուտք, և հնարավոր բոլոր ուղղություններով «ամրապնդենք» մեր դիրքերը նոր ավելի ապահով «բուֆերային զոնա» ստելծելու պատրվագով ագրեսորից մեր բնակչությունը պաշտպանելու համար: Այսինքն, ոչ միայն պաշտպանվենք այնտեղ որտեղ որ հակառակորդը հարձակվել է, այլ միաժամանակ հարձակվենք այնտել, որտեղ ինքը չի էլ նախատեսել հարձակվելու: Նման մի խելոք քայլ մերոնք իհարկե արեցին, այսինքն չխաբնվելով հակառակորդի խորամանկ գործողուտյուններին, ֆլանգային հարձակման դեմը առնելու համար կենտրոնական ուժերը չտեղափոխեցին ֆլանգները, և ավելին նախահարձակ լինելով ոչնչացրին հակառակորդի պատրաստած կենտրոնական գլխավոր ուժերին, բայց դրանից բացի նավ պետք էր որևէ թույլ օղակում անպայման տարածքային կորուստներ պատճառել նրանց: Նման պատժի դեպքում Ալիևին իր կլանի հետ միայն ինքնահրկիզվելը կփրկեր...
