Ապրիլի 1-ին Էդիկը բարձրացել է դիրքեր՝ մարտական հերթապահության: Ապրիլի 4-ին՝ ժամը 4-ի սահմաններում, վիրավորվել է մարմնի տարբեր հատվածներում՝ ոտքերի, ձեռքերի, թևերի, դեմքի շրջանում:
«Հակառակորդի կողմից հանկարծակի ականանետի պայթյունից վիրավորվել եմ»,- պատմում է Էդիկը: Նա 22 ամսվա զինծառայող է: «Քիչ ժամանակ է մնացել, չեմ համբերում, ուզում եմ բարձրանալ մարտական դիրքեր: Շուտ ապաքինվեմ, բարձրանամ մարտական դիրքեր, ընկերներիս, հրամկազմի կողքին լինեմ»,- ասում է Էդիկը:
Նա նշում է՝ բուժումը նորմալ ընթանում է. «Բժիշկների կողմից ստանում եմ շատ լավ, նորմալ վերաբերմունք: Պատրաստվում եմ շուտ ապաքինվել, բարձրանալ դիրքեր՝ ընկերներիս մոտ»: Էդիկն ասում է՝ դեռ կիսատ գործեր ունի.
«Ճիշտ է՝ ես շատ բան եմ արել, հակառակորդը, այսպես ասած, տեղը հանեց, բայց ուզում եմ մարտական դիրքեր բարձրանալ: Հակառակորդ կողմին պատասխան կրակ տալու համար պատրաստ եմ ցանկացած պահի, ցանկացած պայմաններում՝ թեկուզ վիրավոր»:
