Արտակ Բեգլարյանը Ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Երեկ գնացել էի «Եղնիկներ»՝ հանդիպելու դիրքապահներին և ծանոթանալու տեղի իրավիճակին: Երևի իրենք ավելի շատ լիցք տվեցին ինձ, քան ես՝ իրենց: Հաճելի էր տեսնել համերաշխության ու փոխօգնության այն միջավայրը, որում ապրում են հայ հրամանատարը, զինվորն ու կամավորը՝ կողք-կողքի: 
Տեսա նույնիսկ բարձրաստիճան հրամանատարների, ովքեր համբերատար պատասխանում են անհանգիստ ծնողների զանգերին, ճշտում նրանց զավակ-զինվորների որպիսությունը և տեղեկացնում ծնողներին: Ավելին՝ երբեմն հեռախոսակապի համար անհասանելի դիրքերից զորամաս են բերում զինվորներին և հնարավորություն տալիս զանգել հարազատներին: 
Տեսա կամավորների, ովքեր շատ հոգատար են ժամկետային զինծառայողների հանդեպ՝ նրանց փոխարեն ամենավտանգավոր դիրքերում կանգնելով, նրանց ամենաշատ սնունդը բաժանելով: 
Տեսա զինվորների, ովքեր պատրաստ էին անձնազոհության՝ հանուն հայրենիքի սահմանների և կողքին կանգնած ընկերոջ պաշտպանության:
Համոզվեցի, որ բոլոր դիրքապահներն այնտեղ բավարարված են ամեն ինչով, իսկ զորամասի պահեստը լիքն է պարենամթերքով և անհրաժեշտ այլ պարագաներով:
Զգացի հայոց լեռնաշխարհի զորությունը, այն լեռնաշխարհի, որն էլ ավելի է ամրապնդում բոլորիս կազմած միասնականության շղթան՝ որպես հայության գոյության մշտնջենական վկա և երաշխիք:
Տեսա, համոզվեցի և զգացի, թե որքան ամուր է հայոց հողը, հողին հենված զինվորը և զինվորին հենված ազգը...
Հ.Գ. այսօր Շահումյանի և «Եղնիկների» արծիվ Շահեն Մեղրյանի զոհվելու օրն է... փա՛ռք ընկած Շահենին և ներկայի այն Շահեններին, ովքեր, ծվարած Մռավի փեշերին, 23 տարի անց պատվով շարունակում են նրա սուրբ գործը:
