Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում շատ տպավորիչ էր այն պահը, երբ նույնիսկ թուրքերն ու ադրբեջանցիները ոտքի կանգնեցին եւ լսեցին Հայաստանի հիմնը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ասաց Եվրոպայի նորընծա չեմպիոն Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը (77 կգ), որը ծանրամարտի տղամարդկանց եւ կանանց Հայաստանի հավաքականների հետ Նորվեգիայից վերադարձավ Հայաստան, փոխանցում է NEWS.am Sport-ի թղթակիցը:
«Այն, ինչ կատարվեց Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում, շատ տպավորիչ էր: Մասնավորապես, այն պահը, երբ բարձրանում էր մեր դրոշը եւ հնչում էր հայոց օրհներգը ու բոլորը հոտնկայս լսում էին մեր հիմնը: Նույնիսկ թուրքերն ու ադրբեջանցիները ոտքի կանգնեցին եւ լսեցին մեր հայոց հիմնը: Բոլորս հպարտորեն կանգնեցինք Եվրոպայի առաջնության պատվո հարթակին եւ դա յուրաքանչյուրիս համար մեծ նվաճում էր: Եվրոպայի առաջնությունը վերջում վերածվել էր Հայաստանի առաջնության, ես ու Տիգրան Մարտիրոսյանն էինք մնացել վերջում եւ մեր երկուսիս պայքարը կանխատեսելի էր: Շատ տպավորիչ է երկրպագուների կողմից այսպիսի ջերմ ընդունելության ու դիմավորման արժանանալը, հատկապես շատ ոգեւորիչ է այստեղ տեսնել ՀԱՕԿ նախագահին: Ուրախ եմ, որ նա էլ էր եկել մեզ դիմավորելու: Դա մեզ նոր ուժ է տալիս: Առջեւում Օլիմպիական խաղերն է: Արդեն ապրիլի 28-ից մեկնում ենք ծաղկաձորյան հավաքի: Կնախապատրաստվենք Օլիմպիական խաղերին: Այս նվաճումը, հաղթանակս նվիրում եմ բոլոր այն զինվորների հիշատակին, որոնք իրենց արյան գնով այս օրերին պահեցին մեր սահմանը Ղարաբաղում»,- ասաց Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը:
