Միյատովիչը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Թուրքիայում համացանցի անազատության առնչությամբ

Մեդիայի ազատության հարցերով ԵԱՀԿ ներկայացուցիչ Դունյա Միյատովիչն իր մտահոգությունն է հայտնել Թուրքիայում համացանցի ազատության վերաբերյալ` կապված այն փաստի հետ, որ երկրում արգելափակվել է ռուսական Sputnik լրատվական գործակալության կայքը: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակից:
«Այս արգելափակումը միայն վերջինն է այն շարքից, որի մասին ես տարիների ընթացքում բարձրաձայնել եմ` կապված Թուրքիայում համացանցում խոսքի ազատության հետ: Խնդիրներն ի հայտ են գալիս 5651 օրենքից, որը կիրառվում է երկրում էլեկտրոնային կայքերն արգելափակելու նպատակով»,- նշել է Միյատովիչը: Նա փաստել է, որ կայքերի արգելափակումը չափազանց անհամաչափ միջոց է: «Դա խախտում է հանրության` համացանցում տեղեկատվություն ստանալու իրավունքը և բացասաբար է ազդում լրատվական բազմակարծության և ազատ արտահայտման վրա»,- ասել է ԵԱՀԿ ներկայացուցիչը:
Միյատովիչը նշել է, որ ներկայում ավելի քան 110 հազար էլեկտրոնային կայքեր ու հազարավոր լրատվական ու սոցիալական մեդիայի URL-ներ Թուրքիայում արգելափակված են, դրանց մեծ մասը` առանց դատական որոշման:
«Թուրքիայում համացանցի մասին օրենքը շարունակում է բարեփոխման հրատապ հարց մնալ: Իմ գրասենյակը պատրաստ է աջակցել իշխանություններին առցանց ազատ արտահայտման իրավունքի հարցում կարևոր քայլ կատարելու նպատակով»,- հավելել է Միյատովիչը:
Թուրքիայի հեռահաղորդակցության նախարարությունն ապրիլի 14-ին, հենվելով 5651 օրենքի վրա, արգելափակել է Sputnik լրատվական գործակալության էլեկտրոնային կայքը: Լրատվական գործակալությունից հայտնել են, որ կայքը Թուրքիայում արգելափակելու որոշման մասին իրենք նախապես տեղեկացված չեն եղել:
